Job Description

We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic team player to join our Corporate Licensing team. In this role, you’ll help boost the visibility of our journal content, supporting both revenue growth and brand reputation. You’ll build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, while keeping our databases, contracts and spreadsheets accurate and up to date.

Key Accountabilities
  • To liaise with editors both internal and external to index their journals in third‑party products to ensure maximum exposure.
  • To work closely with our technical team to set up an electronic darts feed/subscription for delivery of content to comply with contractual agreements.
  • To maintain and update our indexed journals spreadsheet, which feeds into Power BI, so editors always know where their journals are indexed.
  • Manage queries/requests received through personal or generic email/teams meetings.
  • Support the Corporate licensing team to carry out research into different products to expand the journal's exposure.
  • Collaborate with Customer Services to allocate generated invoices and pursue outstanding payment collections, if needed, issue refunds.
  • Work with our current partners, informing them of any new titles which we feel would fit in their product.
  • Upload new agreements and addendums to our DocuSign database, and maintain DocuSign document metadata up to date.
  • Compile and circulate annual price increases to third‑party customers to ensure they have information on all new/ceased titles and that they are charging our current fees.
  • Work on internal systems to ensure smooth onboarding and off‑boarding of journals.
  • Support and involvement with departmental projects
  • Managing internal shared mailbox
  • Manage relationships with Gratis partners and inform Corporate Licensing Executive of opportunities to transition to a Commercial agreement from Gratis.
  • Assistance in onboarding new systems/processes.
  • Preparing data sets as requested

Additional information

Location: We believe that great things happen when people connect face‑to‑face. That's why we work in‑person with each other, or with customers and partners, three days a week or more. When you’re not spending time together in one of our offices or other workplaces – like at conference – you get the flexibility and support to work from home or remotely.

The successful candidate will be able to utilise our balanced working model. We have an immediate opportunity to join our People Business Partnering team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.

Our People Business Partners play a crucial role in supporting both the business and its people. With an eye toward enabling their stakeholder groups to achieve their objectives, their primary focus is on assisting line managers and front-line colleagues by making sure they have the guidance and resources to succeed. In addition to providing this direct support, they also lead business area-specific HR initiatives, such as maintaining organizational charts, overseeing workforce planning exercises, and execution of changes programs.

Our People Business Partners are dedicated to serving as trusted advisors, helping to execute plans and activate talent frameworks/initiatives tailored to the unique needs of the business areas they support.

You will be expected to work in a hands‑on way to drive and deliver key people initiatives into the business in support of the strategic people plan, and acting in close collaboration and partnership with people colleagues from our 4 Pillars - Transformation, Culture, Professional Learning & OD, and People and Policy Relations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and business leaders by in-depth and active listening to understand objectives and challenges, problem‑solve and agree plans for an effective way forward.
  • Partner closely with colleagues in the POE (Shared Service) team and across the 4 Pillar teams to support the delivery of the Global People Strategy and Plan to the highest standard across own area of the business.
  • Work with the Regional Strategic Partner to provide support for ad‑hoc People Team projects as required bringing a solution focused mind‑set to bear on any initiative.

Qualifications

In order to be successful in this role you will have:

  • A proven track record of true HR Business Partnering experience and of supporting colleagues across the full colleague lifecycle, ideally within a global environment, including strong performance management, talent acquisition, change management experience and skills.
  • Strong Talent Planning skills and a deep knowledge of the talent process across the colleague life cycle
  • Experience of successfully executing reorganizations
  • Experience of and a commitment to driving commercial and customer focused People initiatives.
  • Strong Project management experience and experience with using relevant Project Management tools and processes.
  • Strong Data Analysis skills and data‑led storytelling ability
  • Knowledge of employment legislation
  • Experience of working with Trade Unions would be useful (UK)
  • Evidence of working cross‑functionally and effectively influencing stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively listen and coach at all levels with an empathetic and inclusive mindset
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and do the day‑to‑day as well as the strategic elements of a BP role
  • A familiarity and comfort with working with ambiguity and "in the grey"
  • Strong HRBP background plus experience in one Centre of Excellence (could be TA, L&D, ER, DEI, etc)

Job Description

We have an exciting and business critical opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our Business Planning and Performance division, reporting into the Finance Director Corporate Costs.

This role supports the planning and performance of our c.£200m indirect cost base. You will be integral in supporting the business to provide clear and robust cost reporting and return on investment metrics. You will be responsible for generating executive level insights by applying a financial lens to business decisions and assessing cost opportunities and risks by closely partnering with T&F senior management. The role has a particular focus on staff costs, supporting the HR team to provide clear and robust FTE reporting and employee productivity metrics.

As the Finance Business Partner you will
  • Partner with the business and T&F finance to design, develop and report on indirect cost and ROI metrics
  • Support HR and senior management to report on FTE and employee productivity metrics
  • Maintain the appropriate review and reporting mechanisms for indirect costs to ensure tight cost control and risk and opportunities are identified and shared with the relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure that the business clearly understands their budget headcount and all recruitment is in line with plan
  • Work closely with business stakeholders and finance to deliver the annual planning cycle (budget, 3YP, forecasts) with high-quality accurate cost and FTE forecasting
  • Support with building business cases for indirect cost projects/ investments, tracking spend and reporting on ROI, in particular HR projects/FTE investments
  • Provide insight and analysis to support the business with understanding cost drivers and performance against budget
  • Build scenario models to evaluate the impact of headcount changes, cost of living and career pathway adjustments
  • Work closely with the Financial Control team to ensure the correct treatment is being followed for the accounting of indirect costs, including the capitalisation of IT staff costs, bonus and holiday provisioning and changes in payroll taxation rules and regulations
  • Work closely with the Operations teams to ensure the quality and accuracy of payroll and FTE data
  • Lead on the design and development of automated cost and FTE reporting, including PowerBI dashboards and integration with HR Information Systems
  • Proactively identify potential areas for cost rationalisation
  • Support tender processes to ensure financial impacts are fully understood and evaluated
  • Proactively seek opportunities to automate processes and to drive process improvements
  • Be the principal point of contact for the HR leadership team for finance queries – building strong networks across the business and in all geographies
  • Provide insight, analysis and reporting on other areas of indirect cost as required by the Finance Director – Corporate Costs
Qualifications
  • A Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) is essential to success in this role.
  • Significant post qualified experience in financial reporting / forecasting / budgeting / business partnering
  • Demonstrable SAP and Planning Analytics (TM1) user experience is essential with experience of bespoke HR systems and PowerBI a benefit
  • Comfortable manipulating large data sets and visualising complex financial information to non finance stakeholders
  • Technical awareness of industry and developments in payroll and employment law that may affect staff cost, experience partnering with HR teams preferred but not essential
  • Strong data literacy and stewardship techniques are essential
  • Strong MS skillset, especially Excel and Powerpoint
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and the ability to maintain strong working relationships
  • A high level of numerical and analytical capability with a strong eye for detail
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high growth, technology focused organisation
  • Ability to manage workload in challenging and busy environment. Ability to prioritise and balance multiple and often conflicting requests/timeframes
  • An interest in driving finance planning solutions and passionate about data needing to be both accurate and of a high quality to make better decisions

Job Description

This role will report to the Senior Compliance Manager at Taylor and Francis (T&F), to help develop and implement key areas of Informa’s overall compliance strategy.

The role will provide advice and knowledgeable compliance support for global T&F colleagues, as well as supporting training and engagement and using tracking, monitoring analysis and reporting of key data points to ensure that Taylor & Francis’s Compliance programme successfully manages the division’s exposure to regulatory risk, as part of Informa’s wider Compliance programme. The T&F Compliance programme includes sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption, whistleblowing, modern slavery, anti-sexual harassment and third party risk, amongst other areas.

Tasks are likely to include:

  • Collaborating effectively with the T&F Senior Compliance Manager, the wider Informa Group Compliance team and other global teams and colleagues as needed
  • Helping the business to operate in compliance with sanctions, anti-bribery and other laws and regulations supported by the Compliance team, by responding to questions and providing clear, accurate, current and appropriate advice in a timely manner
  • Managing responses to the T&F Compliance team inbox, escalating issues to Compliance Manager or other teams as required
  • Carrying out screening for sanctions, reviewing screening results and resolving more complex escalations
  • Supporting the T&F Senior Compliance Manager in the delivery of risk-based due diligence on third parties. This may include assisting with due diligence reviews of third parties, identifying, tracking and monitoring related mitigation activities, the assessment and tracking of the effectiveness of existing third-party management processes, and overall analysis to ensure that our due diligence is commensurate with the level of risks identified
  • Working alongside the Senior Compliance Manager to engage with T&F colleagues on the importance of regulatory compliance and to communicate the details of applicable laws and regulations, and our related policies and processes. This may include writing communications, managing our internal online content, developing and delivering scheduled training, developing or updating guidance, and ensuring that T&F Compliance’s engagement and training materials remain current and readily available
  • Ensuring that T&F’s divisional policies and related guidance, including the Divisional (Financial) Authority Framework and Sanctions guidance are up to date
  • Monitoring compliance with Informa’s Gifts & Entertainment policy, through reviewing records on our finance and other reporting systems, following up on non-compliance with policy, and analysing data to identify potential risk areas
  • Maintaining records of activities (such as training, due diligence or monitoring activity) so that records are available to internal audit teams and regulators if needed
  • Managing T&F Compliance’s KPIs and metrics in line with Global Compliance requirements, including tracking against targets and analysing data to identify areas of risk or opportunity
  • Developing and presenting reports and dashboards to senior stakeholders on compliance metrics, programme status and areas of risk or opportunity, ensuring visibility of the compliance programme’s progress and effectiveness
  • Assisting with external and internal audits as appropriate
  • Working with T&F’s process improvement teams to map compliance processes as needed and identify opportunities to streamline and improve
  • Providing reports on the T&F Compliance team’s progress and activities as required by the Business and the T&F Compliance Manager
  • Attending/participating in webinars and conferences, including specialist groups for the publishing industry, e.g. Publishers Association, Navex Global, Trace to ensure you remain up to date with regulatory changes, industry initiatives, and best practice to help inform and drive divisional compliance initiatives

Qualifications

Whilst previous compliance experience isn’t essential, as some of these skills can be trained, we would be keen to find a candidate with a demonstrable interest in Compliance and some of the following:

  • A keen interest in and good knowledge of key compliance areas such as ABC, Modern Slavery, Whistleblowing and Sanctions and other compliance obligations
  • Experience of working with screening programmes for Sanctions and/or third party Due Diligence
  • Experience of collaborating effectively with international colleagues
  • Experience in producing qualitative and quantitative reports and presenting the findings
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, and experience in communicating at all levels of an organisation
  • Recognised Compliance and/or legal qualifications, demonstrating commitment to this field.

  • Attention to detail. Many regulations require detailed analysis: it’s important to attend to the details while maintaining a view of the big picture
  • Attention to the big picture. Compliance Officers must understand the bigger picture and what the regulators are trying to accomplish with the regulation.

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our global team, providing outstanding service to internal and external customers. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will collaborate across departments, manage daily processes, and contribute to improving customer satisfaction, productivity, and cost efficiency.

What you'll be doing:

Qualifications Knowledge and Experience:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Good educational background, including competence in English and Maths.
  • Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce is advantageous.
