The Role

As a Mechanical Project Manager at TClarke , you will take ownership of a key mechanical package on a major Data Centre project. Reporting into an experienced Project Director and supported by a dedicated, site-based Operations Director , you will work as part of an established delivery team alongside other Mechanical Project Managers, Engineers and specialist subcontractors.

You will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of mechanical installation works from construction through to completion, ensuring packages are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

The role will involve managing complex mechanical systems including ductwork, HVAC, ventilation, air systems and associated mechanical packages , working closely with internal teams and supply chain partners to achieve successful project delivery.

You will lead mechanical delivery activities, coordinate subcontractors, manage technical queries and ensure all systems are installed, tested and commissioned in line with project specifications and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full mechanical delivery package on a major Data Centre project
  • Report into the Project Director and site-based Operations Director within an established delivery team
  • Work alongside other Mechanical Project Managers delivering complex mechanical packages
  • Oversee mechanical installation from construction through to commissioning and handover
  • Manage subcontractors, engineers and site teams to ensure safe and successful delivery
  • Manage specialist packages including ductwork, HVAC, ventilation and air systems
  • Coordinate with electrical, CSA and wider project teams to ensure effective integration
  • Review drawings, specifications and technical information
  • Manage RFIs, technical queries and design coordination
  • Monitor progress, quality, compliance and programme delivery
  • Support commercial teams with variations and change management
  • Lead commissioning, testing and handover activities
  • Promote strong health & safety standards and a right-first-time approach

About You

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the MEP/building services sector
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, ductwork, ventilation and mechanical systems
  • Experience managing significant mechanical packages and specialist subcontractors
  • Strong understanding of mechanical installation, commissioning and handover processes
  • Confident managing clients, consultants, engineers and supply chain partners
  • Strong organisational skills with commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proactive, driven and committed to delivering high-quality projects safely and efficiently

The Role

About You
  • Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager within the construction or MEP sector.
  • Previous experience working on Data Centre projects is essential.
  • Strong client‑facing experience with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
  • NEBOSH Diploma preferred, although candidates holding a NEBOSH Certificate with relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and industry best practice.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence site teams and drive positive behavioural safety initiatives.
  • Ambitious, proactive and motivated with a desire to progress within a growing business.

The Role

As MEP Quality Assurance Manager , you will lead the implementation of TClarke's ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System across a major Data Centre development, ensuring consistent delivery of quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Working closely with the Group QA Manager, Project Director and Operations Director, you will oversee all on‑site quality assurance activities, manage a team of QA Coordinators and drive quality compliance across project teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring robust inspection, testing, commissioning and handover processes are delivered to the highest standards on one of London's most technically complex construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all quality assurance activities across a major Data Centre project.
  • Implement and manage TClarke's ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and Project Quality Plan.
  • Manage and support a team of QA Coordinators, providing leadership, guidance and technical expertise.
  • Work closely with the Group QA Manager to embed company quality processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all client quality requirements are incorporated into project delivery and maintained throughout construction.
  • Oversee inspections, quality audits, snagging activities, NCR management and corrective actions.
  • Manage digital quality systems, inspection records, QA documentation and progressive handover processes.
  • Coordinate QA activities with project delivery, engineering, commissioning and planning teams to ensure programme milestones are achieved.
  • Lead quality walks, interface inspections and verification of installations across all MEP disciplines.
  • Ensure quality documentation, inspection records and test packs are completed in preparation for commissioning and project handover.
  • Produce regular QA reports highlighting project performance, risks, defects and improvement actions.
  • Drive a proactive quality culture through collaboration, coaching and leadership across the wider project team.
About You
  • Proven experience as an MEP Quality Assurance Manager, QA Lead, Commissioning Manager or Senior Building Services Engineer within the construction or MEP sector.
  • Previous experience working on large‑scale Data Centre projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of MEP installation, commissioning, inspection and quality assurance processes.
  • Experience working within ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and structured QA environments.
  • Strong client‑facing experience with the ability to build trusted relationships across all project stakeholders.
  • Experience managing QA documentation, inspection records, snagging systems and project handover processes.
  • HNC, HND or Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, organised and driven, with a passion for delivering exceptional quality on technically complex projects.
