Job Description

The Data Quality Analyst is accountable for the design and operational execution of the Data Quality framework, as well as coordination across all technical and business resources throughout the test. Responsibilities include creation and maintenance of quality assurance testing deliverables and assisting in delivery activities.

• Analysing Business requirement for completeness and accuracy
• Analysing Business requirements against the technical specifications (data modelling)
• Creating manual test cases
• Developing validation scripts for automated execution, while creating actionable data quality reports that measure trends over time.
• Developing yaml code to create DevOps pipelines and maintain them
• Analysing test outputs and reporting defects
• Working closely with Business Analysts, Data Analysts/Scientists, Development, and Product Owners to ensure data housed in multiple source systems is valid and accurate.
• Participating in defect triage and sprint ceremonies
• Candidate will be involved in both automated and manual ETL testing across multiple scrum teams, although most of the testing will be automated
• Participation in architecting the logical design of data quality practices with the technical team, including DQ design and specifications, data modelling, and documentation of logical processing flows.
• Agile testing.
• Developing documents and implementing data quality standards.
• Regularly reviewing and interpreting QA results and findings with limited support from senior leadership.

This role requires an individual who can work autonomously across configuration, optimisation, troubleshooting, and delivery of GIS solutions. You will be working on‑site 2 days per week, collaborating with technical and non‑technical stakeholders to ensure effective use of geospatial data and systems.

Lead the configuration, deployment, and support of ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5 and associated components.

Deliver high‑quality GIS solutions using ArcGIS Pro , ArcGIS Apps, Dashboards, and related tools.

Design, build, and manage real‑time data integrations using GeoEvent Server .

Analyse spatial data requirements and recommend best‑practice geospatial solutions.

Create and maintain dashboards, mapping products, and geospatial visualisations for operational and strategic use.

Provide technical troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution across the ArcGIS platform.

Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable GIS outputs.

Ensure all work complies with security and governance standards aligned to SC‑cleared environments.

Proven experience in a GIS Consultant or Geospatial Specialist role.

Strong hands‑on knowledge of:

ArcGIS Pro

Experience working within secure or regulated environments.

Ability to translate technical GIS concepts to business stakeholders.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data interpretation skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

Active SC Clearance (cannot progress without this).

Ability to be on site in Portsmouth 2–4 days per week .
