We are looking for an experienced counterbalance forklift operator for a short term temporary position based in Ringwood. This is a varied role offering a competitive hourly rate.
Duties of a Stock Controller- Loading/unloading of stock
- Processing stock condition
- Stock checking
- Inventory control
- Picking and packing of orders and safe use of warehousing equipment to complete general tasks.
- Including the daily checks and maintenance of the electric Forklift Truck.
This role best suits upbeat and self-motivated individuals who enjoy working carefully, productively and to the best of their ability.
The role requires excellent organisational skills, with a key focus on maximising efficiency.
Therefore, it is important to ensure that you have a moderate level of fitness to enable you to comfortably complete your duties.
Many of these tasks may involve a substantial amount of manual handling including bending, stretching, reaching, and lifting.
Previous experience in warehousing, storage, and customer service desirable, but not essential. More important is the willingness to learn and tackle challenges with diligence and attention to detail, with the ability to adapt to the shifting situations within the work environment.
Desirable Personal Qualities- B1 counterbalance Forklift Truck license.
