Champneys is seeking an Assistant Spa Manager to support the Spa Manager in delivering seamless treatment department operations and leading a high-performing team. You will oversee training, standards, and guest needs while driving consistent sales performance.

You will mentor therapists, ensure top hygiene and presentation, and maintain an exceptional guest experience across all spa services and retail channels.

Champneys Forest Mere is seeking a Spa Supervisor to support the Spa Manager in running the treatment department across our Forest Mere location. This full-time role offers a salary of £30,160 per year plus an incentive structure, with a focus on training, standards and delivering guest satisfaction.

You will ensure your team is trained to a high standard, help achieve retail and treatment sales targets, and maintain clean, presented facilities.

As a Spa Supervisor you will be responsible for;

• Assisting the Spa Manager to ensure the smooth running of the treatment department and provide effective professional management to your team with regards to training, standards and reaching sales targets.
• With guest satisfaction at the forefront of what we do, you will ensure guest schedules are suitable and extra care is taken at all times.
• You will ensure your team are trained to the highest standard, and are there to assist our guests with any needs they may have throughout their visit with us and ensure they leave wanting more!
• You will ensure high standards of presentation and cleanliness are maintained at all times and that your team are supported in achieving their retail and treatment sales targets as set.

We require you to be qualified in the following:

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Beauty
• Spa Supervisor experience desired but not essential
• Good overall standard of education

Champneys is offering a part-time apprenticeship for aspiring beauty therapists. You will work within the spa team, gaining hands-on experience in waxing, nails, lash and brow treatments, makeup application, and basic massages while earning £8.00 per hour for a 32-hour week.

You will learn anatomy, physiology and spa working practices, supported by in-house trainers to help you reach your full potential and progress within the Champneys brand.

You will be given the knowledge to provide advice and recommendations on the beauty treatments and future appointments for you clients whilst maintaining professional values that meet Beauty Therapy industry requirements and expectations.

As an apprentice you will work amongst colleagues that have been on your journey and now form part of the expansive Spa team. As an apprentice, naturally you will be passionate and friendly, you will be passionate about learning and progressing to a qualified therapist.

Thistle City Barbican is seeking a part-time City Spa Therapist to deliver high‑quality facial, massage and nail treatments while providing exceptional customer care. You will work 32 hours per week, including every other weekend, with comprehensive training and development opportunities across our wellness programmes and product ranges.

• To follow Champneys protocols and training programs ensuring you are offering the best service to our guest and to attend training courses required for your therapist grade to be able to offer all treatment a spa therapist should be offering.
• To be responsible for your working areas and ensure that equipment is fully operational and clean and report any defects to maintenance via the Manager on duty at any time of the day, adhering to Health and Safety regulations by using safe work practices.
• To liaise in a positive and constructive manner with the manager and receptionists on the day's scheduled treatments, any changes, additions, etc to meet the ever-changing needs of our guests. Flexibility and cooperation are required. This may also include shift changes.

Some duties and responsibilities include;

• To carry out all treatments to the required standards ensuring the specific treatment time is adhered to.
• To provide ultimate client care to clients paying for Senior Massage.
• To liaise in a positive and constructive manner with the manager on the days scheduled treatments, any changes, additions etc in order to meet the ever-changing needs of our clients. Flexibility and cooperation are required. This may also include shift changes.
• To attend any appropriate training courses required.
• To keep up to date with developments relating to the product ranges and any new treatments.
• To ensure that equipment is fully operational and clean and report any defects to maintenance via the Manager at any time of the day.
• To adhere to Health and Safety regulations by using safe work practices.

We require you to be qualified in the following:

• Experience working in a spa or beauty salon
• At least 2 years’ experience working as a therapist
• NVQ Level 2 & 3 or equivalent
