Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be joining the Extraordinary Care Awards Regional Team of the Year.
We are looking for a compassionate and flexible Complex Care Assistant to support a client with autism and epilepsy. The role involves assisting with meal preparation, domestic duties, arranging and attending medical and personal appointments, and supporting with medication and access to the local community. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills with full training and clinical support in a supportive, person‑centred environment.
Qualifications- Previous experience in a support worker or care assistant role is extremely advantageous, especially with the following clinical tasks or complex needs: medication administration, moving & handling equipment, challenging behaviour, caring for clients that are non‑verbal, autism & epilepsy experience.
- Essential: full valid UK manual driving licence.

Job Description What you’ll doYou’ll be joining a team supporting a Gentleman with a spinal cord injury who never allows the fact that he is a full‑time wheelchair user to limit his ambition to live life to the full. From supporting him with his rehabilitation through daily physio and exercise programmes to supporting daily activities and trips out.
You are a caring, reliable and flexible person who relishes variety. No need for relevant qualifications or experience - full training will be given, including shift shadowing and support from team mates.
Qualifications What you’ll needWe’re looking for compassionate, proactive individuals to join our dedicated support team, working with a gentleman living with a spinal cord injury. This rewarding role involves assisting with his ongoing rehabilitation, including daily physiotherapy and structured exercise programmes, as well as supporting him with day‑to‑day activities and social outings.
