We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Sales & Logistics Coordinator to join our clients expanding team.This is a varied role combining customer service, sales support, and transport coordination.

You will play a key role in delivering a professional and efficient service to customers—from initial enquiry through to delivery and aftersales support.Working closely with the Sales Director and wider business, you will coordinate orders, manage deliveries, liaise with customers and transport providers, and contribute to strengthening customer relationships and business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, and online enquiries
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently

Overview

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to take ownership of maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement activities across our manufacturing operations.

Supporting the production of Animal Feed, AdBlue, Antifreeze, Screenwash, and other products, you will play a key role in minimising downtime, improving equipment performance, and supporting new engineering projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on engineer who enjoys problem‑solving, taking ownership, and driving improvements in a fast‑paced production environment.

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00

Friday: 07:00 – 16:00

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of day‑to‑day maintenance activities across production
  • Carry out mechanical and electrical fault‑finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance
  • Maintain filling lines, blending equipment, pumps, conveyors, and pneumatic systems
  • Diagnose and resolve breakdowns to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency
  • Manage engineering spare parts inventory, ensuring critical stock levels are maintained
  • Source and order parts and maintenance consumables
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors for technical support when required
  • Support installation, commissioning, and improvement of machinery and plant
  • Assist with PLC fault‑finding and coordinate with external automation providers
  • Lead minor engineering projects from concept through to completion
  • Identify recurring faults and implement long‑term corrective actions
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production teams
  • Assist with training where required
  • Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, and engineering practices
About You
  • A qualified electrical engineer (recognised qualification essential)
  • Experienced in electrical fault‑finding (motors, sensors, contactors, industrial systems)
  • Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings
  • Skilled in mechanical maintenance and working with production equipment
  • Experienced with pneumatics (essential)
  • Ideally experienced in PLC fault finding (advantageous)
  • Analytical and solution‑focused
  • Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to take ownership
  • Organised with strong communication skills
Essential Skills
