The Role

As a Product Manager III on the Rapid API team, you will shape product strategy for a supply-side domain that strengthens our demand-side business. You will focus on the supplier capabilities, integrations, and partner experiences that improve supply quality, coverage, and efficiency across Rapid, helping demand partners access richer, more reliable inventory and create better traveler outcomes. This role sits at the intersection of hoteliers, suppliers, connectivity partners, and the company platform teams, translating supply-side opportunities into demand-side growth through strong API strategy, seamless integrations, and forward-looking product innovation.

In this role, you will:

  • Own and evolve the roadmap for supplier-facing capabilities spanning onboarding, property setup, content, inventory, rates, availability, and related integration workflows, with a clear focus on how stronger supply-side capabilities unlock demand-side growth.
  • Partner closely with engineering through the full product lifecycle, from discovery and API design to launch, adoption, and ongoing lifecycle management for supplier and connectivity products, with fluency across RESTful APIs, GraphQL , and evolving integration technologies.
  • Develop a deep understanding of hotelier, supplier, and connectivity provider needs, using those insights to design experiences that reduce onboarding friction and improve integration success.
  • Work across the end-to-end supplier value chain, including account setup, contracting, connectivity configuration, property creation, content management, product setup, validation, and go-live readiness.
  • Collaborate with business, commercial, onboarding, partner success, and integration teams to translate supplier and market requirements into clearly defined product priorities and sequenced delivery plans.
  • Define and track success metrics such as supplier adoption, onboarding time, integration time, API quality, activation rates, and supplier satisfaction, using data to drive prioritization and iteration.
  • Identify opportunities to improve supplier developer experience through better API design, tooling, documentation, self-service capabilities, and platform consistency, including thoughtful use of AI to streamline partner workflows, surface insights, and improve operational effectiveness.
  • Communicate vision, trade-offs, and progress clearly across cross-functional stakeholders, building alignment around the supplier strategy and the investments required to unlock scale.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B platforms, travel technology, marketplace supply, or partner-facing products.
  • Experience working on APIs, platforms, or integration products, with a strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL , evolving integration technologies, and developer experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to define roadmaps, write clear requirements, and deliver iteratively with engineering and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using product, operational, and adoption metrics to drive outcomes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Migration support to SAS Viya
  • Provides statistical programming technical support and expertise across the Biostatistics function and other departments as needed.
  • Uses SAS or other software to develop custom programming code to generate summary tables, data listings, graphs and derived datasets as specified in the statistical analysis plan and programming specifications.
  • Proposes and leads the development of process improvements, programming tools and macros for standardization and efficiency, and the development of new concepts, technologies and products to meet emerging customer needs.
  • Analyzes information and develops innovative solutions to programming and data analysis challenges across the department.
  • Reviews, provides input, and promotes standardization of CRFs, databases, Statistical Analysis Plans and mock shells within a project or therapeutic area, or across a program.
  • Mentors other members of the Biometrics Department in the use of traditional, new, and novel approaches in delivering analytics to sponsors and regulatory agencies through the development and presentation of training courses and one on one discussion.
  • Understands and enforces compliance with company, regulatory, and industry standards, within and across projects or programs.
  • May develop or review specifications and may support any kind of statistical programming activity.
  • Negotiates and establishes accurate time estimates for completion of projects with internal team members and statistical programming management, provides regular status updates, and completes projects within agreed upon timeframe.
  • Maintains well organized, complete, and up-to-date project documentation, testing, and verification/quality control documents and programs ensuring inspection readiness.
  • May act as primary customer interface representing the department at client meetings; may present status updates at Senior Management meetings.
  • Displays willingness to work with others, holds project team members accountable, and leads projects and initiatives as necessary to meet the needs of the business.
  • May provide project oversight to Lead Statistical Programmers across one or more programs.
  • Maintains extensive working knowledge of clinical drug development, industry standards, and electronic submission requirements.
  • Actively participates in industry standards organizations and provides regular updates to the Biometrics Department on upcoming changes to those standards. May contribute to presentations at industry conferences and roundtables.
  • When serving as a subject matter expert for CDISC and other industry and regulatory requirements, performs compliance reviews of project deliverables for CDISC deliverables including SDTM and ADaM specifications and datasets as well as any regulatory required documents. (i.e. DEFINE.XML)
  • May lead or support the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), guidelines, policies, and/or procedures; Follows applicable SOPs, WIs, and relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g. ICH).
  • Supports business development activities by contributing to proposals, requests for information, budgets, and attending sponsor bid defense meetings
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
  • Minimal travel may be required.

This position is critical to support complex project and submission activities, ensure the efficient use of standards and tools, and actively contribute to the further development of programming processes and tool landscape. A key requirement is support for the migration to a new SCE (SAS Viya), where fast adaptability, creative and pragmatic problem-solving, and the ability to quickly understand working processes and environment are essential. The role requires someone who can operate effectively in a dynamic setting and provide immediate value. In addition to extensive Statistical Programming and technical experience, the ideal candidate should bring regulatory understanding, leadership capabilities, and knowledge of multiple programming languages (SAS, R, Python and/or Java). Experience with SAS Viya is a must as well as strong SAS Macro knowledge.

  • Deep experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems, cloud-native platforms, APIs, and event‑driven architectures.
  • Hands‑on experience building and delivering LLM‑powered applications, AI systems, or agent‑based solutions in production environments.
  • Strong software development expertise in Python, TypeScript, or comparable modern programming languages.
  • Demonstrated experience establishing technical standards, engineering practices, and architectural direction at scale.
  • Proven ability to mentor senior engineers and develop technical talent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with agent frameworks, orchestration platforms, and protocols such as MCP, A2A, LangGraph, Bedrock, Vertex AI, OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar technologies.
