What you will be doing- You’ll work side by side with talented testers, translators and developers, reporting issues clearly and working relentlessly to make sure they’re fixed.
- You’ll be the guardian of language in every game you touch, making sure every word, menu, and in‑game message feels natural, accurate, and culturally right.
- You’ll test games like a pro, following our proven Universally Speaking LQA methods that define the industry standard for linguistic quality. Every detail counts, and you’ll make sure nothing slips through.
- Your reports will make a difference: you’ll use professional bug databases to describe linguistic issues clearly, track progress and verify that fixes hit the mark.

- You’ll write and refine test cases, document your findings and set the bar for best practices in LQA.
- You’ll collaborate with developers and fellow testers early in the process, helping shape how each game’s localisation is tested and improved.
- And beyond that, you’ll constantly look for smarter, faster, better ways to do things taking initiative to optimise workflows, share knowledge and raise the standard for everyone around you.
What you’ll bring to the game
- You’re someone who notices the smallest details others miss, and you can’t rest until everything’s perfect. You speak LANGUAGE like it’s second nature and handle English with confidence, both written and spoken.
- Games are your thing – you live them, breathe them and care how they sound, look and feel. You thrive in a team that moves fast and works under pressure, never losing focus or quality along the way.
- You’re proactive, determined and naturally curious about how things work. You use that curiosity to make improvements and find better ways to deliver great results.
- You’re nimble with tech: comfortable using databases, spreadsheets, testing tools and the usual suspects in MS Office. Organisation and accuracy are your companions.
- And of course you already have the right to work in the UK; this position is not eligible for sponsorship. This role needs you in the office, part of the action, not remote.
- Experience in LQA, translation or proofreading – you’ve seen how words take shape across languages.
- Familiarity with translation systems.
- Previous use of test‑case management tools or text‑editing platforms.
- An understanding of gaming trends and the culture behind them.
