What You'll Be Doing:
As a key member of our high street Energy Hub team, you'll be at the forefront of driving sustainability in your local community. You'll be the first point of contact for customers, whether face-to-face or over the phone, offering support that goes beyond energy services.
You'll empower customers with practical, personalised energy-saving advice, helping them reduce their usage, lower their bills, and shrink their carbon footprint, along with introducing them to our innovative, eco-conscious products and services
Using our in-house CRM system, you'll resolve queries efficiently and clearly translating technical information into everyday language and ensuring every interaction supports our mission for a more sustainable future.
Beyond customer service, you'll be a sustainability ambassador in your community. You'll collaborate with local charities and organisations through our charitable foundation, Utilita Giving, supporting initiatives that strengthen communities and promote environmental responsibility.
By leading local green initiatives and working closely with your team, you'll inspire others to take part in building a cleaner, more connected future-making our Energy Hubs not just places of service, but centres of environmental and social impact.

The Role

- Proven experience in a reporting, analytics, or business intelligence role, ideally within a contact centre or customer service environment.
- Strong experience producing and interpreting operational performance metrics.
- Advanced proficiency in reporting and analytics tools, including Power BI, Excel, and SQL.
- Experience managing reporting systems, databases, and performance dashboards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Previous leadership experience, including coaching and developing team members.

Role OverviewRepresenting the Revenue Protection team, you will attend domestic and commercial properties to investigate and resolve smart meter alerts and safety issues.
Your Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities- Engage with customers at pre‑warrant and warrant appointments.
- Discuss repayment options and agree suitable resolutions.
- Install and exchange smart meters when required.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all outcomes are compliant.
The successful candidate will hold CMA1/CCN1 or equivalent, MET1, MOCOPA (single phase, single off multi, multi rate), and have previous experience as a Smart Meter Engineer. 3‑Phase and Medium pressure qualifications are desirable.
You will thrive in a team‑focused environment where clear communication, flexibility and resilience are key. You must be able to travel to customer homes and undergo enhanced security vetting.

As a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer, you will be the face of the business installing smart meters in domestic properties while championing a customer‑first mindset to preserve industry‑leading customer experience.
Salary & Bonuses£38,993 base salary with an additional £330 per week for being on call (average 1 in 5 weeks), potential OTE of £42,293 per annum. Meter installation bonus: £25 per meter or £50 for a dual after completing a minimum of 4 installs per day.
