  • Stay close to conversion daily, catching where momentum is slipping and acting before it becomes a problem
  • Drive commercial campaigns and promotions that bring energy to the clearance calendar

Warehouse and Merchandising

  • Review returned stock and systemise SKUs and item numbers, generating clear lists for the warehouse team
  • Set up product displays, rugs, sofas, coffee tables, chairs and cushions, styled to brand guidelines

Customer Experience

  • Own the customer journey through the outlet, hosting every visitor with warmth and genuine product knowledge
  • Handle complaints and disputes fairly and professionally
  • Ensure every customer receives a special experience that reflects the quality and luxury design nature of the product

Leadership

  • Build and lead a team, coaching individuals and developing them as you go
  • Define the standards and rhythm this outlet, and future ones, will run on
  • Get involved directly, moving stock, helping with staging, keeping the space safe and well run

Personal Attributes and Skills

  • Professional, articulate and well spoken, with excellent verbal and written communication
  • Positive, solution oriented, fun and friendly, with a genuine growth mindset and comfortable giving and receiving feedback
  • Leads from the front, celebrating wins as a team and knowing a happy, successful team drives successful results
  • Treats every piece with real respect and a genuine commitment to finding it the right buyer, while setting commercial margins that reflect its value
  • Strong customer hosting skills, confident handling complaints and disputes with fairness and composure
  • Well organised, commercially minded with an understanding of pricing psychology
  • A real eye for design and quality, able to make a customer see it too, even at a reduced price

Experience Required

  • Background in high end consumer goods, ideally furniture, somewhere design and quality genuinely mattered
  • Open to candidates ready to step up into ownership, as well as more experienced managers looking for something different
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Hands on and willing to lead by example

Please Note: Due to location, own vehicle is essential as location is not easily reached via public transport.
