The UMT Facilities Trustee (FT) is appointed to oversee the unit facilities and maintenance. The primary purpose of all the UMT Trustees is to support the UC to manage a safe, effective and successful Sea Cadet unit.

The secondary purpose of the FT is to be responsible for keeping auditable records through the Westminster Asset Register of the unit’s facilities, ensuring they are safe and adequate to support the unit’s charitable purposes and objectives.

Youth Scotland, Scotland’s national charity for the support and delivery of community‑based youth work, is looking for an experienced Senior Development Worker to join the Location CashBack/Programmes for Young People Team. This role will suit an experienced worker with excellent partnership working skills and experience coordinating ambitious national projects and programmes.

  • Contract: Full‑time (35 hours per week). Contract to 31st March 2029, with continuation subject to funding
  • Location: Based in Edinburgh but with hybrid working available

Location CashBack is a Scotland‑wide, large‑scale youth participation and leadership programme for young people impacted by crime, poverty and anti‑social behaviour. It is delivered by a consortium of Youth Scotland, Scouts Scotland, Girlguiding Scotland and the Boys’ Brigade.

Youth Scotland’s programmes for young people include flagship events like our Big Ideas Weekend and young grantmakers projects.

As Senior Development Worker, you will manage key relationships with funders and partners, line‑manage the Location CashBack Development Worker and other Youth Scotland staff and youth participation projects, and effectively coordinate ambitious national initiatives.
