What youll be doing

Your role will vary from day to day andyou must have experience in all aspects of groundworks and excavators whichwill include, kerb and edging laying, fencing, concreting, slab laying and drainage. Plus you must be able to drive an excavator and have skills in basic brickwork and rendering.

Youll need to ensure that your company vehicle is stocked for each required task and youll be happy to use handheld PDAs to record your jobs.

About you

You'll love working outside and will bring your existing skills to the team. You'll be working out and about in our communities so you'll understand the importance of good customer service.

Youll have a full UK manual driving licence. You will understand the importance of working collaboratively with other Aster colleagues to get the job done. Youll be happy to complete admin to support your daily tasks including daily vehicle checks.

This role is based at The Eaves Learning Centre, 3-days-per-week.

The Role - Field Service Engineer, Medical Diagnostic  Systems

Following expansion, they seek to recruit a technically motivated and customer focused Field Service Engineer responsible for:

• The service and breakdown repair on a wide range of sophisticated medical and laboratory diagnostics systems utilised within pathology departments, NHS laboratories and clinical chemistry environments 
• Visiting customer sites and providing customers with valuable solutions for troubleshooting 
• Liaising with a whole host of external customer contacts, including laboratory managers and laboratory technicians from within the NHS and a range of private independent scientific organisations and laboratories
