Commercial and Residential Property Lawyer
Location: Salisbury, Andover, Amesbury or Fordingbridge offices (Hybrid, remote and onsite working available).
Salary: Competitive.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced property lawyer to join our growing property team. The ideal candidate will handle a range of residential conveyancing and some commercial property transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Act for property investors, working nationwide to purchase residential and commercial property.
- Handle commercial property transactions.
- Manage straightforward residential property work.
- Play a flexible role within the team as work demands.
- Professional qualification as a solicitor, FILEX or Licensed Conveyancer.
- At least 3 years' experience in commercial property.
- Excellent people, organisational, time management and IT skills.
- Ability to multi‑task under pressure and adapt to change within a pressurised environment.
- Excellent client care and communication skills.
- History of strong billing.
- Experience in purely remote working if working from home primarily.
Remote working, hybrid working or based at any of our four branch offices: Salisbury, Andover, Amesbury, and Fordingbridge.
TeamYou will be part of a 35‑strong property team, broken into four teams: residential conveyancing, commercial property, property investor work, and a 6‑strong specialist leasehold team (mainly lease extension and lease enfranchisement).

The successful candidate
- A professional qualification - either as a solicitor, FILEX or Licensed Conveyancer
- at least 3 years' experience of commercial property
- great people skills and will be an enthusiastic team player
- good organisational, time management and IT skills
- the ability to multi-task under pressure
- the confidence and the ability to react to change whilst working within a pressurised environment
- excellent standards of client care and great communication skills
- a history of strong billing
If the successful candidate intends working from home primarily, it is particularly important that they are experienced. Any candidate who is fully remote must have solid experience of purely remote working.
The job
The property work continues to grow, so they anticipate continued significant growth in the number of conveyancing cases handled in the next 6 - 12 months.
The ideal candidate will need to play a flexible role within the team. There are potentially 3 parts to this particular position.
- acting for property investors - working for a variety of investors and developers nationwide, purchasing residential and some commercial property. An ability to cover this work is essential
