Overview

Part Time Cook – Kingshill Court, Wigan, Greater Manchester WN6 0AR. Cover two other services: Ashwood Court Residential, Lowton, Cheshire WA3 2RB.

Salary: £13.12 hourly

Hours: 25 weekly

Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring residents receive fresh, quality food meeting dietary requirements and budget constraints.

Organise and control food production, review menus with residents, incorporate feedback, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Requires previous kitchen/catering experience and food hygiene skills.

Qualifications

Previous kitchen experience essential. Food and hygiene skills required.

No prior industry experience or specific qualifications necessary, but on‑the‑job training and professional development will be provided.

  • Maintaining accurate records across PMS and distribution systems in line with revenue strategy
  • Collaborating closely with Revenue, Sales, Reception, Finance and Meeting & Events teams to ensure seamless guest delivery

As our ideal candidate, you’ll have:

  • Previous experience in hotel reservations, front office, or a guest‑facing hospitality role
  • Confident telephone sales skills with a natural ability to upsell and convert enquiries
