Job Description
The role delivers an effective model advisory & management capability in Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) and sits in the Model Advisory & Management team under Credit and Capital Management. You’ll work with regional and global Business, Risk and Finance stakeholders across the model lifecycle to improve business and commercial efficiency, strengthen risk management and support effective regulatory compliance.
A core requirement is deep understanding of institutional counterparties—Financial Institutions (FIs) and Non‑Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs)—and how Wholesale IRB (W‑IRB) model selection and outputs should be applied to these clients in credit decisioning.
Key Responsibilities- Model Implementation: Support end-to-end implementation of Wholesale IRB (W-IRB) models into business processes, including change impact assessment and readiness activities, with a focus on institutional (FI/NBFI) portfolios.
- Model Outcome Optimisation: Identify and deliver improvements across model inputs, use of model outputs, systems and processes to enable commercial efficiency by performing fact-finding and deep dive reviews, including analysis of data to find gaps/exceptions.
- Model Training Programme: Embed W-IRB model knowledge into business users, including preparation of model user guides, factsheets and FAQs and delivering training to Institutional Client Group (ICG) Bankers, Business Credit Officer (BCO) and other users.

- Demonstrable institutional client credit experience (FI and/or NBFI) gained through coverage, credit risk or portfolio management, or FI/NBFI model development and support.
- Wholesale banking / wholesale credit risk experience (e.g., Coverage Banker, Debt Origination, Credit Risk, Portfolio Management, Finance or Credit & Capital Management) with a strong understanding of wholesale lending products, portfolio dynamics and end-to-end credit process.
- Strong working knowledge of W‑IRB models and how model inputs/outputs are used across the credit lifecycle (risk rating, origination/monitoring, RWA/capital, pricing, portfolio steering), with the ability to articulate commercial impacts and trade-offs, particularly for institutional counterparties.
- Model advisory and implementation capability: experience supporting the rollout/embedding of models or risk methodologies into business processes, including change impact assessment, readiness, adoption, and post‑implementation deal‑level support.
- Analytical deep‑dive skills: proven ability to diagnose issues across data, systems, process and controls, identify gaps/exceptions in model usage or outcomes, and drive remediation that improves capital efficiency and risk management.

**The Role:**
The Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) Refresh Analyst plays a central role in assisting with the management of multiple client portfolios across the HSBC Innovation Banking business with a specific focus on KYC and client due diligence. A significant element of the role will be the completion and documentation of structured KYC reviews and ensuring that they meet both external regulatory and internal audit and compliance standards.

**Requirements (Skills/experience):**

We are currently seeking a professional to join our team in the role of **Product Associate Director, Private Assets**
The role is focused on driving the growth of the Private Assets product through active involvement in sales & client related activities, product roadmap execution and robust product management. The role is global in focus but with a leaning to activity relating to UK & European clients. Specific responsibilities will include subject matter expert support for sales and client-related engagements, including responsibility for client facing content and delivery (e.g. presentations, demonstrations, RFIs/RFPs). The role holder will also be expected to lead specific product roadmap development initiatives and provide support on other roadmap priorities.

**In this role you will be responsible for:**
+ Build and strengthen product management function for Private Assets
+ Manage key contributors to the product including internal and external business partners and vendors
+ Assist with efficiency and enhancement initiatives, working with colleagues in Asia and Europe
+ Prepare product pricing strategies and maintain product rate cards.
+ Work closely with Sales on various client pitches, RFPs, due diligence meetings and other discussions/negotiations
+ Provide high quality subject matter expertise throughout the deal lifecycle
+ Produce and update marketing and sales collateral on an ongoing basis and lead delivery of same to clients and internal stakeholders
+ Work with various team members within Private Assets Product, broader Product team and also other key stakeholders including Senior Business Management, Sales, Operations, Product Delivery, IT and external partners to drive business growth and manage the product effectively.
+ Design, maintain and enhance the operating models for Private Assets, maximizing the benefits available from global Centres of Excellence and regional Hub and Spoke structures.
+ Participate as key stakeholder and business subject matter expert to tactical and strategic change programmes, ensuring requirements are accurately captured and solutions are effective in improving product profitability.
**To be successful in this role you should have:**
+ **Deep experience in the financial services industry working directly Private Assets funds (**
+ **Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of private asset classes (Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Estate, Infrastructure).**
+ Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the private assets funds industry.
+ **Demonstrates a solid grasp of the technology and systems supporting the product with direct knowledge of core Private Assets platforms. Knowledge of Investran, Yardi, Geneva, and other digital solutions will be an advantage.**
+ **Experienced in client and sales-related scenarios, demonstrating an ability to lead client presentations and demonstrations**
+ Experience working with business partners on sales pipeline development and client prospecting is an advantage
+ A strong understanding of evolving technology for Private Assets and in particular, implementation of digital solutions for Private Assets is an advantage
+ Strategic mind-set, with strong conceptual, creative and analytical content. Energetic, results focused, change agent, with a strong work ethic.

We're currently seeking an experienced professional to join our UK Cybersecurity Team in the role of UK Cyber Lead, Commercial Banking (CMB).
You'll play a key part in supporting and enhancing cybersecurity across HSBC UK's CMB entities, helping the business grow securely within risk appetite in a fast-changing threat landscape. Reporting to the UK CMB Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), you'll work closely with technology and business stakeholders to strengthen risk and control standards, ensuring our cyber approach is engineering-led, pragmatic, and aligned to business objectives.

In this role you will:
+ Support delivery of the UK CMB cybersecurity strategy aligned to business goals and risk appetite, driving continuous improvement of controls, processes and security technologies with a strong customer focus.
+ Manage cybersecurity risk, governance and compliance activities (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, FCA), coordinating audits/assessments, maintaining evidence and reporting for senior management, and supporting external engagement as required.
+ Lead day-to-day stakeholder engagement, incident management and security culture initiatives, coordinating response to major incidents under UK CMB CISO direction, developing team capability, and contributing to policy, standards and awareness programmes.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
+ Technical & Regulatory Experience: Practical engineering experience supporting the design and implementation of security controls and tooling (including exposure to AI-enabled solutions). Solid knowledge of cybersecurity, technology and risk management, with working familiarity of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements (GDPR, FCA).
+ Stakeholder Management: Experience working in complex, fast-paced environments, managing cybersecurity issues and coordinating with senior stakeholders, risk/compliance partners and (where required) supporting regulator-facing activities.
+ Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading junior team members and delivering cybersecurity initiatives, improving control standards and contributing to function maturity and transformation outcomes.
+ Commercially aware decision-maker: Uses business and market insight to spot emerging trends and translate them into practical plans and priorities for their area.
+ Action-oriented leader who delivers through others: Works at pace, coordinates across teams, and supports an inclusive environment to deliver agreed outcomes.
