• Support the manager as part of the management team, leading the shop to run efficiently and provide great service to customers.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries worked quickly and shop routines completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop the team of retail assistants.
• Control operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

• Trustworthy and reliable – dependable for the team and customers.
