Job Description

Capacity & Supply Chain Analysis Manager

This Packaging World Leader seeks an experienced Capacity Planning & Supply Chain Analyst who will be responsible for minimising the risk of stock outs and letting customers down. In order to do this, the analyst will have an understanding of the drivers for maximum capacity and the usage of that capacity. They will be experienced in optimising the efficient use of that capacity and will be able to demonstrate a track record of achieving optimal use of capacity, ideally within a solid board or corrugate packaging manufacturing operation. They will also have experience and understanding of the drivers and interdependency between the supply chain and capacity. For example, if a new market is to be opened up in a new sector, they will assess the consequences of bringing in that new volume on capacity, or if a new piece of machinery is acquired, they will determine the capacity gain for such a purchase. Crucially, the analyst will not just be a "number cruncher". They will take ownership of Capacity Management and be responsible for delivering the best use of that capacity to the benefit of the customer.
