Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in manufacturing or precision engineering? Do you enjoy leading complex New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from concept through to production?

Our client, a well-established and highly respected precision engineering manufacturer, is looking to recruit a New Product Project Manager to join their growing engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering technically challenging projects within a quality-driven manufacturing environment.

The Role

Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of new product introduction and development projects from initial customer enquiry or contract award through to successful production handover.

Working closely with engineering, production, quality, purchasing and commercial teams, you'll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards while acting as the key point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and product development projects from launch through to production.
  • Manage projects using a structured gated development process, ensuring milestones and approvals are achieved.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans using Microsoft Project.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, production, quality, purchasing and operations.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor project risks, actions, costs, quality, timescales and change control.
  • Support manufacturability reviews covering machining, casting, inspection and production readiness.
  • Ensure customer specifications, engineering drawings and quality requirements are fully understood and implemented.
  • Support APQP, PPAP, FAIR, FMEA, control plans and process validation activities where required.
  • Chair project review meetings and provide clear progress updates.
  • Manage the successful handover of projects into production.
  • Drive continuous improvement across NPI and project delivery processes.

About You

We're looking for an organised and commercially aware Project Manager who has experience delivering engineering or manufacturing projects within a regulated industry.

You'll ideally have:

  • Proven experience managing NPI, product development or engineering projects within manufacturing.
  • Experience in sectors such as precision engineering, machining, casting, aerospace, defence, automotive or other highly regulated industries.
  • Strong knowledge of structured NPI or gated project management processes.
  • Experience working within AS9100 or similar quality management systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
  • The ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • A practical approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

Desirable Experience

  • PRINCE2 or equivalent Project Management qualification.
  • Knowledge of investment casting, CNC machining, inspection or special manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with APQP, PPAP, FAIR, PFMEA and production readiness activities.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing planning.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced DV Cleared Privileged Access Management (PAM) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the design, implementation, integration, and ongoing enhancement of secure privileged access solutions within highly secure and regulated environments.

This role requires a hands-on technical specialist with deep expertise in PAM technologies, secure platform engineering, and cyber security controls.   • Act as the technical authority for Privileged Access Management solutions and associated platform technologies.

  • Lead the design, implementation, and integration of PAM solutions across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments.

  • Develop high-level and low-level technical designs aligned with security-by-design principles.
