Job Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced Spray Painter to join our production team at Eden Fabrications, offering the flexibility of a 4- or 5-day working week.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing products for surface finishing and applying coatings in line with individual project specifications. A strong knowledge of paint spraying techniques and excellent attention to detail are essential to ensure high-quality, durable finishes that meet required thickness, colour, and finish standards.

Previous experience in fire painting would be advantageous.


Responsibilities

  • Follow work instructions for each individual project to ensure specification compliance
  • Remove rust and loose materials using a wire brush or appropriate equipment
  • Fill, sand, and smooth surfaces prior to spraying
  • Mask areas not requiring paint using tape and coverings where necessary
  • Select and mix required coating liquids
  • Select and attach correct spray nozzles to achieve the desired finish
  • Spray machines, products, and wall areas using industry-standard techniques
  • Clean spray cans, nozzles, and spraying equipment after each job
  • Inspect finished coatings once dry to ensure quality standards are met, in line with BS EN 1090
  • Wear appropriate PPE at all times


Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in a relevant or similar spray painting role
  • Experience in fire painting is desirable but not essential
