Key Responsibilities

  • Support the ISM Cyber Delivery Manager, providing specialist advice, reporting and assurance to principal stakeholders
  • Support implementation of the PDS Cyber Services (CS) strategy, roadmaps and business plans, bids and business cases
  • Monitor security, technological, social and scientific trends that could influence the National Policing policy
  • Ensure that outcomes and benefits are maximised from all people, process and technology investments as part of the PDS role in leading delivery for the National Digital Policing Strategy
  • Advise on necessary technical and procedural governance, control systems, standards and procedures
  • Forge strong relationships with National Policing Programme personnel and key stakeholders across Policing
  • Work closely with the DDAT and Technical Operations team to manage security decisions
  • Provide technical and security architectural input and recommendations to the Project and wider CS services
  • Consult on and develop information security and risk policies, standards and guidelines for National Policing
  • Apply and implement Secure by Design
  • Provide security advice, secure solutions and risk identification and quantification for National Policing projects and programmes
  • Input into the overall National Policing Target Architecture providing specific information security considerations into designs
  • Proactively provide specialist security advice to representatives of PDS and National policing in line with the demands of the Strategic Portfolio
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven IT/Information security and risk consulting experience in large organisations with complex security and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience of delivering security in one or more of the following cloud service provider environments: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience in defining and/or implementing security controls across multiple layers of the IT architecture stack.
  • Experience in the production of or input to design documentation (HLDs, LLDs, blueprints etc.), supporting cloud architecture design, implementation, operations, and automation in Azure AWS and GCP.
  • Strong knowledge and ability to demonstrate the use of the NIST Cyber Security Framework, mapping and translating NIST Cyber Security Controls to other frameworks such as ISO27001 and CIS Top 20 controls, including understanding of the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework.
  • Experience in defining, designing and/or implementing security controls across multiple layers of the IT architecture stack.
  • Demonstrate a track record of developing strong working relationships with a wide number of stakeholders, particularly in managing expectations across a large number of disparate customer, supplier and stakeholder groups.

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced fire safety professional to lead and develop a growing Fire Risk Management division within a rapidly expanding fire engineering and consultancy business.

This role is ideally suited to an individual with a strong technical background in fire risk assessment and remediation, combined with proven leadership and commercial management experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the team, supporting business growth, developing client relationships, and maintaining the highest standards of technical excellence.

The position is primarily home-based, with occasional travel required to support clients, projects, team development and business growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Fire Risk Management team, providing technical guidance, mentoring and support
  • Deliver and oversee complex fire risk assessments across a range of residential, commercial and mixed-use buildings
  • Undertake and review Type 1, 2, 3 and 4 Fire Risk Assessments
  • Evaluate compartmentation strategies and identify remediation requirements

  • Experience carrying out external wall assessments and surveys

As a Design manager you will be coordinating the design elements and interface of all aspects of projects throughout the UK. Ensuring the quality of the design and monitor the delivery of the project. Whilst liaising with our clients, project staff, procurement and site management teams for developments on the design and procurement strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Managing permanent and temporary works designs
  • Managing the design process, with a focus on buildability and efficiency, to ensure the optimum solution is arrived at from concept through to delivery
  • Development of Design Deliverables schedule in co-ordination with the designers
  • Liaising with the project teams to ensure design is developed in line with expectations
  • Ensuring a design programme is prepared and agreed with each designer
  • Liaising with the project planner to incorporate the design programme into the main programme
  • Chairing regular meetings with the designers to ensure the design is developing as planned
  • Monitoring progress of the design and works and updating the programme as necessary
  • Ensuring the design is managed in accordance with the relevant operating procedures
  • Liaising with clients, designers, subcontractors, suppliers and third parties as appropriate
  • Providing technical input and advice as required for live projects and tenders
  • Providing input into programmes where required, including tender, design, construction and Variation / Compensation Event programmes
  • Undertaking a review of the developing design and managing the technical query process
  • Providing construction methodology input and incorporating in the programme where required
  • Managing the flow of information from the design team and advising the project team of any impact on progress and programme
  • Providing necessary information to the Procurement Department to enable the procurement of materials and subcontractors
  • Preparing handover documents
  • Introducing improvements and innovations where appropriate.

Qualifications

  • In-Depth understanding of the design process and the management of interfaces between disciplines
  • Previous site based experience and able demonstrate very high level of knowledge of the design and construction process
  • Proficient user of the complete Microsoft Office suite and familiar/can use all IT software that would benefit this role
  • Formal Qualification in Construction: BSc/BEng, HND, HNC or equivalent experience

Desirable Criteria

  • Understands specific NEC contracts and is able to take appropriate action
  • Have a working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • MICE or working towards it

We are looking for an experienced **Customer Service Centre Supervisor** to join our growing Customer Service Hub in Livingston. In this role, you will lead a small customer service team while ensuring the highest standards of customer service and supporting the day-to-day operations of our depot network.

**As a Customer Service Centre Supervisor you will be responsible for:**
+ Leading the day-to-day activities of the Customer Service Centre team, providing coaching, guidance and performance support to ensure high levels of customer service.
+ Working closely with the Depot Manager to ensure the efficient running of daily operations and quickly resolve operational challenges.
+ Managing customer enquiries, preparing quotations, processing orders and coordinating equipment availability, transport and deliveries.
+ Building strong customer relationships by managing customer accounts, purchase orders, invoice queries and identifying opportunities to grow existing business.
+ Overseeing on-hire, off-hire, equipment exchanges, documentation and administrative processes while ensuring compliance with company procedures.
+ Managing customer and supplier account creation through Carrier systems, including completion of compliance processes such as MK Denial.
+ Supporting month-end activities, operational reporting and maintaining accurate customer and business records.
+ Identifying new business opportunities, generating sales leads and supporting the wider sales strategy.
+ Ensuring compliance with quality standards while collaborating with colleagues across Carrier Rental Systems to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
**To be successful in this role you should have:**
+ Previous experience in a customer service, sales support or operational environment.
+ Previous experience supervising or leading a customer service team.
+ Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
+ Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
+ Strong organisational and time management skills.
+ A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
+ Commercial awareness and the ability to identify business opportunities.

**Pay Range**
The annual salary for this position is between £24,785.00-£49,420.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

As Deputy Manager within Randolph Hill Nursing Homes Group, you will support the Manager with managing the budget, allowing local decisions to be made about the way the home is managed.   • We will also consider someone who has worked at Charge Nurse or Unit Manager level and is now looking for a step up.
  • Clear and confident communicator with excellent listening skills.
  • Experience working with older people, and a sound understanding of dementia.
  • Ability to maintain a positive, solutions-focused attitude at all times.
  • Knowledge of employment law, the private sector, and care home regulations is desirable.
