We are looking for an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team in a highly automated precision manufacturing environment. The role focuses on machine reliability, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement of CNC machining equipment.

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults on CNC machining equipment.
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance across a range of production machinery.
• Support machine reliability initiatives and equipment improvement projects.
• Investigate recurring equipment issues and implement long‑term corrective actions.
• Work closely with production teams to maximise equipment availability and performance.
• Assist with maintenance planning, asset management and critical spare strategies.
• Support continuous improvement activities focused on safety, efficiency and reliability.
• Liaise with equipment manufacturers and specialist service providers when required.
• Contribute to a proactive maintenance culture across the manufacturing operation.
• Support operator training and maintenance best practices where appropriate.

• Previous experience maintaining CNC machining equipment within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault‑finding skills.
• Experience working with multi‑axis machining centres.
• Knowledge of Fanuc, Haas or similar CNC control systems.
• Knowledge of reliability improvement, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement techniques.

• Experience with PLC diagnostics and fault investigation.
• Exposure to TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen or 5S methodologies.
• Experience supporting precision engineering, aerospace, medical device or advanced manufacturing environments.
