The role:    

We are looking for a Lead Clinician to manage our in-house Clinical Team at The Shires – Oakham / Stretton based in Rutland. The postholder will work collaboratively with both the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead. The role will be split between clinically leading the team and holding a therapy caseload. Working collaboratively with the team, the postholder will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our students who may present with complex profiles of need as a result of autism and other types of neurodivergence, developmental trauma and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.  Meeting the needs of EHCP plans will be a primary focus in this role, target led, via the OFG ‘all’, ‘group’ and ‘individual’ clinical ways of working, embedded into our clinical practice. They will also be responsible for coordinating the line management of the members of the onsite clinical team and leading on the service development of the clinical school-based service, alongside the school SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.

Essential Criteria:   

  • Degree qualification in specific discipline
  • Valid and up to date professional Registration & membership of professional body e.g. BPS
  • Experience within the specialist client group; working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.

  • Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team
  • Ability to work independently

    As a Roadside Mechanic you will need:

    • A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) 
    • Demonstrative technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience

    In this role you’ll work the equivalent of 40 hours per week without a set roster. Your shift patterns will include evenings, early mornings, weekends and bank holidays.

The Role
As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair (SMR) division, you’ll bring your expert knowledge and problem-solving skills directly to our members – wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first-class service without the limitations of a traditional garage.


We’ll set you up for success from day one with:
• Your own fully equipped RAC van and fuel card
• Full uniform and PPE
• ll the essential tools and diagnostic equipment you need

What We’re Looking For


• Leve 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
• t least 3 years’ hands-on experience as a vehicle technician on light vehicles
• A ull UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

This role is perfect for you if you’re great with customers as well as cars. You’ll enjoy variety—diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and checks—and be confident making decisions on the spot. As a Roadside Mechanic you will need:

  • A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) 
  • Demonstrative technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience 
  • A customer-focused approach
  • A full UK driving licence 

As a Roadside Mechanic, you'll handle diverse breakdowns and technical issues, making technical expertise essential. With a base pay of £35,000,  your ea ing potential is unlimited, with average earnings between 3,000 to 3,000.
