About The Team:

Part of our Financial Services division, the Asset Management Audit team delivers tailored audit services to clients with complex and diverse asset portfolios. Our clients include large and listed asset managers (including FTSE 250 entities), wealth managers, investment trusts, real estate investment managers and REITs, as well as private equity and venture capital-backed property groups. What You'll Do:

• Lead Complex Audits – Take ownership of large and listed audits in the asset management sector, bringing FTSE 250 experience to the team.
• Provide Technical Oversight – Advise on complex areas including private equity, private credit, infrastructure valuations, IFRS 9/13, and fair value assessments.
• Shape Audit Strategy – Design risk-focused audit approaches tailored to complex group structures and diverse investment vehicles.
• Deliver Reporting & Insights – Manage high-value audits end-to-end, including team resourcing, timelines, group consolidations, and Audit Committee reporting.
• Coach & Collaborate – Support team development and build trusted relationships with CFOs, fund managers, and key stakeholders.

What You'll Bring:

• Professional Qualification – Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CA or equivalent).
• Sector Expertise - Hands-on experience in the asset management sector, ideally with FTSE 250 clients.
• Leadership Experience - Proven leadership in managing complex audits involving asset portfolios and valuation processes. Demonstrated experience at Senior Manager or experienced Audit Manager level.
• Technical Knowledge - Strong technical expertise in IFRS, UK GAAP, CASS rules, and FCA regulations.

About the role

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician  to the join the Engineering Team at our food crumbing and coating production facility in Gainsborough. The successful candidates will perform PPM and reactive maintenance on assets to maximize plant availability and maintain production.

This is a permanent, full-time position operating on a 4-on, 4-off shift basis .

Key responsibilities

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Complying with the health and safety policy and regulations.
• Carrying out risk assessments with the relevant people and put controls in place to minimize the risk to acceptable levels were reasonably practicable.
• Lock off any dangerous machinery immediately/ or repair and notify.
• Resolving breakdowns, carryout PM’s and work on project / improvement works with a view to minimizing production downtime.
• Actively seek to undertake PMs on offline machinery where time allows.
• Fully complete PM sheets with all observations, jobs completed and recommendations and file with the Maintenance Planner, whilst always looking at ways of improving to PMs.
• Actively gain as much information as possible from production personnel regarding the fault on the machine to speed up the fault-finding process.
• Ensure engineering log and computer systems are fully filled in with all relevant information including PM numbers, all used parts, plant numbers, urgency of required parts, at the end of each shift.
• Ensure all communications with external persons are conducted in a professional manner which reflects the company profile.

Qualifications and skills

• HNC, City & Guilds or time-served apprentice with appropriate engineering qualifications
• Experience within a similar role ideally gained within a food manufacturing environment; if not food, experience within any manufacturing environment is highly valued
• Must be multi-skilled with a strong electrical background
• Experience with pneumatics, packaging machinery, and the ability to fault find is essential
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a strong advantage
• Flexible approach with a positive 'can-do' attitude
• Experience of SAP is a plus.

You'll assist with the installation of components like boilers, kitchens, and bathrooms, and participate in an out-of-hours on-call repairs service. You'll conduct validation checks to ensure safety, assist with the delivery of materials and equipment, and manage waste removal safely. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of projects from requirements gathering and drafting the business case to defining the solution that meets our user’s needs, budget management, and delivery schedule, ensuring best in class delivery through to the in-life management process.  

The role holder will require:

This is a 16- month fixed-term position focused on delivery of Windows 11 across the university alongside developing an IT Asset Management capability.
