Your role:

Your profile:

You’ll bring experience in the UK’s Energy Retail and/or Central Markets. You will have insights, relationships and experience of the organisations and programmes that are in scope. You will bring personal experience of delivering change in a hands-on way, leaders in our business roll up their sleeves and play an active role in solving client’s challenges.


You’ll have a blend of the below experience:

  • Customer =
    • Operations - defining new ways of working, new processes, new operating models and organisation designs. Working with utilities mobile workforce to define solutions that meet their needs; and/or
    • CX platforms and associated technologies, including CRM & Billing – identifying opportunities to exploit technology, defining solutions and integrating these with business, customer and operations; and/or
  • Central Markets experience – developed by working with or for the organisations that are in scope – such as Ofgem, DESNZ, NESO, Elexon, DCC, and more.
  • You will be a management consultant with digital experience. Other parts of Capgemini focus on technology delivery, so we are looking for candidates that can bridge business and industry with technology, with a major focus on the former. You will bring management consulting skills:
  • Client issue and problem identification and resolution
  • Strategy and operating model, including business case.
  • Change programme definition and delivery
  • Operational improvement and delivery
  • Digital technology requirements definition and delivery
  • Industry change and stakeholder management

The Role

  • Provide leadership and direction to capture and sell SAP integrated transformation solutions and services within relevant market segment.

  • Be responsible for consistent delivery of services, solutions, and products on time and within cost on a best-value basis, and for developing processes that ensure business risks are evaluated, understood and factored into client solutions and services.
  • Coordinate relationship building activities with appropriate partners, engagement managers, subject-matter professionals, and other Infosys Consulting personnel on the engagement team(s) in an effort to help ensure they are well advised on important matters.
  • Lead proposal development, focusing on the Infosys Consulting value proposition, key differentiators, and win themes.
  • Provide leadership to subordinate managers, taking an active role in guiding their professional growth and development, through coaching, counseling, performance development and mentoring.

Requirements

We are looking for key account consulting anchors, leading sales, delivery & proposition development, with experience in some of the below areas:

  • Proven project and program delivery track record across multiple full lifecycle SAP programs, including multi-country roll-outs of significant size, scope and complexity for ECC and S/4 HANA.
  • Sales and delivery of SAP Utilities/Energy Projects.
  • Strong understanding of the energy market dynamics , including trends, technologies, and regulatory landscapes.
  • Strong understanding of the utilities market dynamics , including trends, technologies, and regulatory landscapes.
  • Project Management experience on large scale SAP implementations
  • Experience in global delivery and working with offshore resources.

+ Participate in the development of project schedule, scope, budget, staffing planning and construction planning. Responsible for the effective management of change orders.

+ Leads field inspections, installation, measurements or calculations for public and private clients.
+ Prepare and present technical reports for clients and industry publications.
+ Build effective relationships with existing clients, customers and contractors and support the business opportunities. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction goals and expectations are met.
+ Participate sales and marketing efforts and identify key pursuits.
+ Lead the development of cost proposals and qualification statements to achieve stated targets and standards for financial performance.

Job Purpose:

The P.E will support the Electrical Project team by working closely with internal and external stakeholders to progress ongoing package delivery as well as taking ownership of new small packages of work from procurement though to delivery.

Co-ordination of design and delivery schedules.

Liaising with manufacturers to progress detailed design and equipment delivery.

Liaising with subcontractors in order to understand challenges and prepare for equipment delivery and installation. Producing project documentation such as BOQ, Schedule of Activities, RFQ document preparation and design packs.

Working with construction team to co-ordinate delivery works.

The Electrical Project Engineer will report to the Electrical Project Manager and be based in the Greater Manchester office.

Key Activities:

The responsibilities of the role will include, but not limited to:

Liaise with Design Engineering technical team

  • Undertake Technical Evaluation
  • Ensure correct specifications quantities and materials
  • Manage TQs
  • Instruct on any change requests
  • Document review & approval

Liaise with Vendors

    • To ensure information transfer is according to schedule
    • Undertake Weekly/Monthly reviews of Vendors Scope.
    • Manage TQs, clarifications, Change requests
    • Document review & approval
    • Undertake QAQC Reviews

Liaise with Construction Project Team.

    • Work closely with clients’ contractors to ensure project specifications are met and maintain effective communication throughout the project
    • Ensure Vendor information is available
    • Provide review of TQ’s  
    • Provide regular reporting on package progress
    • Raise risks etc. for action where necessary
    • Manage delivery per Project requirements

Requirements

Key skills and experience:

  • Relevant delivery experience in a project setting
  • Experience Industrial Design and Construction
  • Able to read and understand electrical documentation including, Electrical Schematic diagrams, SLD’s and load schedules
  • Aware of typical Electrical infrastructure.
  • Experience of working to UK standards and regulations
  • HNC qualified as a minimum
