Overview

We're seeking a Digital Designer to join Clarion's growing creative team, taking up a lead role on digital-first projects across healthcare, pharmaceutical, and wider B2B/B2C sectors. With over 30 years behind them, Clarion is a lively, multi-disciplined agency known for delivering smart, creative, and effective campaigns. Their client base ranges from household global names to local organisations, but their specialism lies in healthcare communications, where creativity must balance innovation, compliance, and impact.

As a Digital Designer / Senior Digital Designer, you'll take the lead on websites, apps, campaigns, and digital assets that blend user-centred design with conceptual flair. From UX strategy and information architecture through to pixel-perfect execution, you'll shape digital experiences that not only look great but deliver results. Working closely with the Creative Director and wider creative team, you'll push boundaries, keep Clarion at the forefront of digital design trends, and mentor other designers. You'll also contribute to new business pitches, injecting bold creative thinking and storytelling into Clarion's proposals.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious designer ready to step into a leadership pathway , in a supportive, ideas-driven agency where your contribution will shape both the creative output and the agency's growth.

Key Requirements: Whether you call yourself a Digital Designer, Web Designer, Senior Designer, Creative Designer or similar we don't mind, you just need a great CV and portfolio that demonstrates:

  • 5+ years in digital design (ideally agency-side, healthcare/pharma or regulated industries a bonus)
  • Proven experience designing websites for larger organisations (ideally 250+ employees)
  • Hands-on involvement in UX and information architecture for large-scale projects
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, XD or similar tools
  • Strong knowledge of responsive design, accessibility, and UX/UI principles
  • Ability to collaborate with developers and understand front-end capabilities
  • Experience leading and mentoring at least 2 other creatives
  • Strong presentation skills and confidence in explaining design rationale to clients and colleagues
  • A portfolio that can be demonstrated and discussed at interview

The Role

We’re seeking a hands-on Digital Marketer (not a project manager), to execute and optimise campaigns across email, SEO, PPC, content, and paid media — driving awareness, engagement, and qualified leads. Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute digital marketing campaigns (email, paid ads, SEO, social, website) aligned with the buyer journey and sales funnel.
  • Manage and optimise websites (Craft/WordPress), and implement SEO best practices to improve traffic, engagement, and conversions.
  • Plan and deliver multi-touch campaigns including email nurturing, content syndication, website conversion, and paid media.
  • Support PPC, account-based marketing, and persona-based programmes to generate and nurture leads.
  • Manage marketing automation (HubSpot): build workflows, email sequences, run A/B tests, and optimise campaigns.
  • Distribute and adapt content derivatives (blogs, whitepapers, case studies, video) across digital channels and for CTAs.
  • Analyse performance data (GA4, Tag Manager, Looker Studio, HubSpot) and report on KPIs such as web traffic, CTR, CPC, and pipeline contribution.
  • Maintain and grow our digital footprint across key channels and ensure visibility in search and AI-driven results.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies, with a strong customer-first mindset.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3–4 years’ digital marketing experience with a proven track record.
  • Proficiency with Google tools (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager), SEO platforms (SEMrush, Ahrefs), HubSpot, and marketing automation.
  • Experience managing CMS platforms (Craft, WordPress) and using design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud).
  • Strong copywriting, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Experience in fast-paced start-up or scale-up environments.
  • A proactive, results-driven, and collaborative approach.

  • Texts written on Madcap Flare and Adobe FrameMaker.
  • Illustrations with Adobe Illustrator (or equivalent).

  • Photos with the use of Adobe Photoshop (or equivalent).
  • Edit these documents in both pdf and HTML5.

Bloomberg’s Product Documentation team is a centralized team of technical writers, creating user assistance materials that span business areas across the financial markets. We partner with Product, Technology, and UX teams to investigate requirements in an energetic environment, characterized by frequent product updates and quick time-to-market. Our writers have the skills to solicit business needs, jump quickly from discovery to draft, and shift seamlessly between deliverables and writing styles.

We take pride in being a collaborative team of 20+ writers that values peer-to-peer editing, an iterative writing process, and cooperative idea generation. We work with style guides to create useful materials with a unified, professional voice. Though we move quickly and strive to perfect the art of balancing competing priorities, we put a premium on quality -- both of writing and ideas. Our writers create a broad range of client-facing user assistance content for the Bloomberg Professional Service and related products. Sitting within Bloomberg’s UX Design department, we focus on user-centered documentation and play a key role in supporting consistency across the system.   • Adhere to team style guides for a suite of standard documentation deliverables, but innovate within style principles to create bespoke documentation materials
  • Employ logical content strategy to forefront essential information for fast-moving financial professionals
  • Shift seamlessly between writing precise instructional documentation and more conversational, benefit-focused promotional announcements.

You’ll Need To Have

What You'll Do

As a Technical Writer at Ultralytics, you will be the bridge between our complex AI technologies and our users. You will produce high-quality documentation that is clear, concise, and effective. Key responsibilities include:

  • Writing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for our open-source software, including our state-of-the-art YOLO11 model and other vision AI solutions.
  • Creating engaging tutorials, how-to guides, and best-practice articles covering topics from model training and hyperparameter tuning to deployment on various platforms.
  • Documenting our Python API, CLI, and key integrations like TensorRT and OpenVINO.
  • Collaborating closely with our engineering and research teams to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly content for a diverse audience.
  • Managing our documentation portal using MkDocs, Markdown, and a Git-based workflow on GitHub.
  • Applying SEO best practices to enhance the visibility and discoverability of our documentation and blog content.
  • Developing and maintaining a consistent style and voice across all technical content, ensuring it aligns with the Ultralytics brand.

Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably for a developer audience in the AI or software industry.
  • Exceptional command of the English language with proven ability to write clear, concise, and accurate technical content.
  • Proficiency with documentation-as-code workflows using Markdown, Git, and GitHub.
  • Hands-on experience with static site generators like MkDocs or Sphinx.
  • Basic proficiency in Python to understand and document code examples and APIs.
  • A strong interest in or experience with machine learning, computer vision, and object detection models like YOLO.
  • Experience documenting APIs, SDKs, and other developer tools.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and how to apply them to technical documentation to drive organic traffic.

Role details

We currently have a need to expand our technical documentation team in our Electrical Safety Solutions division and are looking to hire a dynamic, passionate and experienced technical writer. In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for producing the technical documentation that supports our range of electrical delivery and safety equipment. You will revise and originate technical manuals that comply with rail and rolling stock standards and our own corporate format for customer-facing documents. Your output will communicate clearly to a wide range of users and facilitate the safe and efficient installation, operation and maintenance of our products. Sécheron’s portfolio of circuit breakers, contactors and earthing and safety systems are best in class and this standard continues into our documentation deliverables. This role is based on site in Manchester in the UK’s northwest, with the possibility of working from home up to 40% of the time.


Main Tasks

  • Researching, writing and illustrating technical product support material including operating instructions, installation, maintenance and repair manuals. Texts written on Madcap Flare and Adobe FrameMaker. Illustrations with Adobe Illustrator (or equivalent). Image mainly extracted from 3D softwares: Solidworks Composer (or Solidworks). Photos with the use of Adobe Photoshop (or equivalent).

  • Editing these documents in both pdf and HTML5.

  • Handling a versioning system (with SmartGit or Flare).

  • Gathering information from all persons from different sites involved in the products: development engineers, product managers, maintenance technicians, etc.

  • Transcribing technical subject matter and industry jargon into easily understood text. Writing clearly and concisely ensuring consistency in terminology to avoid ambiguity and subsequent confusion for the readers.

  • Planning allocated work to ensure that tasks are completed on time in line with departmental objectives.


Requirements

  • A native English speaker with an excellent command of the English language: spelling, punctuation, grammar and syntax.

  • Relevant educational qualifications (minimum HNC / HND in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering).

  • Proficiency in the use of Adobe FrameMaker Creative Suite, HTML editors and CSS, Madcap Flare would be an asset.

  • An analytical mind, keen attention to detail and a desire to learn.

  • At least four years’ experience in a technical writing role in a multi-disciplined product / project-led technology business.

  • The interpersonal skills needed to complement the dynamic of the existing team and to demonstrate expected behaviours and standards.

  • The ability to discuss technical issues with hardware engineers and understand and absorb information quickly.

  • Experience in interpreting design documentation: schematic diagrams, technical specifications, arrangement drawings etc. in order to extract relevant source information.


Other advantages

  • Competence in another European language

  • Knowledge of the rolling stock industry, railway network operations and associated standards and directives.

  • Experience in using the Adobe Creative Suite to generate documents

  • Experience and interest in web environment.

  • Ability to migrate technical documentation to web-based learning platform
