About the role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Market Risk advisory practice, focused on delivering innovative quantitative solutions to clients. In this role, you will leverage your deep quantitative expertise to advise clients on risk measurement, modelling, and regulatory compliance, contributing directly to their strategic decision-making progress.

• Lead small and large multidisciplinary engagements and manage client relationships, provide advanced quantitative analysis and modelling to address complex market risk challenges
• Develop, validate, and implement quantitative risk models (including cVaR, CCR and xVA)
• Provide thought leadership in quantitative methodologies, regulatory requirements (e.g. Basel III/IV, FRTB), derivatives pricing techniques, and industry best practices
• Lead project teams, mentor and supervise junior team members, and ensure high-quality delivery
• Support business development initiatives, including identifying new opportunities and developing proposals

• Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in quantitative modelling, market risk management, derivatives pricing, or risk advisory within financial services
• Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: derivatives pricing, stochastic modelling techniques, statistical methods including AI/ML, and programming (e.g. Python, R, C++)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex quantitative concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders

The Prudential Risk and Regulation offering provides a number of tailored solutions to support our FS clients around the interpretation and implementation of regulations to help them achieve regulatory compliance and manage regulators' expectations. We help clients develop and review their key regulatory submissions – such as their Capital & Liquidity adequacy process documents, Recovery & Resolution plans, and their regulatory submissions. We also support clients on organisational, regulatory or systems transformation initiatives to help them manage prudential risk.

Typical engagements in the Prudential Risk and Regulation service area include:

• Reviewing and refining clients' ICAAP, ILAAPs, ICARA's, wind down and recovery plans.
• Responding to clients' queries on the interpretation and implementation of prudential rules.
• Reviewing COREP, FINREP, PRA 110 and other regulatory returns.
• Performing skilled persons reviews in line with the PRA's expectations.
• Reviewing the effectiveness of regulatory change projects.
• Providing assurance on clients' processing of regulatory data.
• Reviewing firms' prudential risk management capabilities – including reviews of relevant policies and procedures; and, how such risks are identified, measured, monitored, measured, and reported.
• Providing internal audit subject matter expertise.

As a Manager / Associate Director you would be expected to:

• Lead multiple client engagement teams, working with a wide variety of FS clients to deliver high quality professional services.
• Play a key role in business development activities for allocated key accounts or a category of FS clients / prospects.
• Work as part of small and large sized multi-disciplinary engagement teams to deliver the types of engagements listed above.
• Gather and analyse information, perform gap analysis, identify areas of improvements and offer value-adding recommendations.
• Lead workshops to resolve client issues, design robust processes / controls and develop an implementation plan.
• Work with stakeholders within clients' organisational structure to implement improvements.
• Managing the execution of client engagements by monitoring and reporting on delivery status, identifying and managing any issues and risks that could impact delivery, and providing guidance and quality review of others.
• Producing materials to help clients understand the impact of regulatory developments and changing risk practices on their business model, control framework, reporting obligations as well as capital and liquidity requirements.
• Developing client relationships, grow networks and assist in identifying and converting engagement opportunities
• Developing product offerings and preparation of technical proposals and pitches to clients
• Assisting in developing and delivering internal and external training materials
• Mentoring, coaching and developing junior team members.

• You will have gained significant experience in Prudential regulatory matters and risk management practices, either in industry, another consultancy, and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA).
• Knowledge of, and experience in navigating and interpreting the provisions of the PRA rulebook, supervisory statements and other on-shored EU laws and regulations. This should include one or more of the following:
• The UK prudential regulatory framework, covering existing and forthcoming regulations, specifically, knowledge of the PRA Rulebook, Supervisory Statements, the FCA Handbook and Basel 3.1
• Preparation or review of Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), in particular Pillar 1 capital requirements, Pillar 2 risks, robustness of stress test scenarios; Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process (ILAAP), Internal Capital Adequacy and Risk Assessment (ICARA), Regulatory Reporting (COREP, FINREP, PRA) and Recovery Plan (RP)
• Good understanding of the PRA's supervisory model – including internal and external risk factors, and risk mitigants.
• Experience of reviewing regulatory returns, s166 reports, and firms' business models.

Corporate Sales Director – Country Choice

National 

We have an exciting opportunity for a  Corporate Sales Director to join the  Country Choice Senior Leadership team, reporting directly to the Managing Director to lead the Corporate Sales team to achieve and exceed sales, margin & capex targets.

You’ll be accountable for the development, implementation and continuous review of the corporate sales strategy across the core convenience and foodservice sectors, including critical networking and relationship building across the wider Sysco business to embed Country Choice concepts.

The role has a national reach and leads a total team of 14 comprising of; 2 Controllers, 8 Corporate Account Managers, 2 Foodservice Sales Managers, and 2 New Business

What you’ll be doing:

• Drive sales and margin results within the retail convenience sector that will deliver a major contribution to the company profitability
• Set the corporate customer sales strategy and alignment of the corporate sales team to achieve AGP annually. Setting objectives to drive and grow sales through joint business plans by individual corporate customer.
• Utilise the regional RSM’s and RSE’s networks and Foodservice trainers to implement agreed customer plans. Embracing Salesforce to build pipeline opportunities for both new business and SOW and providing detailed visibility and accurate forecasting to support business planning.
• Create and drive the sales strategy of CC biggest long-term growth initiative. The selling of CC concepts within our core Sysco GB foodservice business across independent, corporate, KFF, Medina, and Fresh Direct via Total Team Selling.
• Build the team to maximise opportunities and deliver new business and SOW activity. Developing and implementing new processes to drive cross functional alignment and best working practices to maximise one team selling.
• Ensure CMP’s, CDP’s are in place and top talent identified and developed according to individual’s career aspirations, goals and capability levels. Regular 121’s and field accompaniments providing in moment and on job coaching as required.
• Support a change culture within Country Choice that encourages a growth mindset and alignment with the Sysco mindset and our Recipe for Growth, where change is constant and seen as positive and progression of colleagues both internally and externally is viewed in the same way

Reporting to the COO, The Engineering & Asset Director will be a key member of the senior leadership team and will sit on DB Cargo UK’s Operational Board. The Engineering & Asset Director will be responsible for the strategic leadership of the Asset Management and Maintenance function, overseeing a team of over 800 valued colleagues. The role involves driving operational excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and expanding commercial opportunities through third-party maintenance services. A strong focus on safety, innovation, and team development is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement long- and short-term strategies to optimise rail services, with a focus on asset reliability, utilisation, and customer needs.
•  Operational and Financial Management : Hold accountability for the engineering budget, fleet planning, and investment proposals aligned with business and customer demands.
•  Commercial Development : Grow third-party maintenance services and respond to technological advancements to enhance the value proposition.
• Safety and Team Leadership : Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, promote a strong safety culture, and lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team.

This is a role well suited to an inspiring and commercially astute engineering leader with a proven track record in asset and maintenance management within a high availability environment. The ideal candidate will bring strategic vision, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of asset management within a closely aligned sector. They will be a resilient and inspirational leader, capable of driving transformation, fostering innovation, and delivering sustainable growth through both internal operations and external commercial opportunities.

The successful candidate is likely to have;

• Leadership Excellence: Proven leadership skills with experience in managing large, diverse teams and creating a high performance culture.
• Safety and Regulatory Knowledge: In depth understanding of rail safety standards (or similar) and regulatory frameworks, including ECM and WTD compliance.
• Extensive Engineering Experience: Demonstrable background in asset and maintenance management, ideally within the rail industry.
• Strategic and Commercial Acumen: Ability to develop and execute business strategies, drive profitability, and identify growth opportunities in 3^rd party maintenance services.
• Analytical and Problem Solving Skills: Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to make data driven decisions and respond effectively to market and operational challenges.

The base location of this role is relatively flexible, but the successful candidate will live within commuting distance of one of DB Cargo UK’s key locations; Stoke, Toton, Crewe or Doncaster.
