**What are your contributions to the team?**
- Prepare all necessary documents to support the modification of Bombardier aircraft such as wire diagrams, functional test plans and reports, technical requirement documents, electrical load analysis and design compliance reports.
- Extensive coordination with outside suppliers, internal departments and regulatory agencies regarding the design, installation, integration, testing and certification of avionics and entertainment systems on all Bombardier platforms.
- Research specification for component selection. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure specifications are met.
- Assist service center personnel in investigating, troubleshooting, and resolution of build/modification and test issues
- Work in a team environment
**How to thrive in this role?**
- You will hold a Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent or will have a minimum of five (5) years of practical avionics/electrical system installations, testing and integration experience in aviation.
- You have experience with AutoCad (preferred)
- You will have a working knowledge of applicable regulatory certification rules (FAA, EASA, TCCA).
- You will be proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)
- You have a working knowledge of electrical, avionics, and wire harness design guidelines for CFR Part 25 aircraft is preferred.
- You must be a self-starter and able to handle multiple initiatives effectively.

The Test Operative role will work in the Test facility at the Rotating Machines factory in Rugby where we perform engineering testing (electrical, thermal, mechanical, etc) on multi-MW motors and generators for Low Voltage and Medium Voltage applications across industries including Oil & Gas, Industry, Marine, Naval and Renewables.
The role reports to the Head of Test, and required duties range from conducting electrical tests on rotating machines and related mechanical fitting activities, through to full accountability of running tests Safely to defined processes and procedures.
It may be necessary that the Operative will be requested to support other types of activities outside of the Test facility in the other manufacturing and assembly areas of the factory.
Main duties include:
+ Performing a range of inter-process testing (e.g. Insulation Resistance, Electrical Resistance, HV flash, Inter-turn tests, PD, TanDelta etc)
+ Running test of rotating machines (e.g. o/c, s/c heat runs, ZPF, vibration monitoring, temperature monitoring etc)
+ Mechanical fitting - preparing and building machines for test, fitting drives, couplings etc.
+ Maintaining a clean and tidy work area in line with 5S standards
+ Adherence to EHS and ensuring a safe working environment
Key skills/abilities:
+ HNC, HND, or Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent

The Sensata design centre in Swindon develops integrated circuits and MEMS solutions for a wide range of applications, working with our customers to take designs from specification to qualified silicon. Our engineers form a multidisciplinary team of electronics experts, who push the bounds of their experience to deliver each new project.
Reporting to the ASIC Design Manager, the Senior/Principal Mixed Signal Design Engineer is responsible for the technical leadership, high-level simulation and block design of mixed-signal ASICs. They have experience in both digital and analog design, being an expert in one or the other.
# General Responsibilities
+ Participates in and leads block specification, design, verification, and documentation
+ Participates in and leads architectural design, system-level simulation, and abstract modelling of analog and digital blocks
+ Able to lead a small team of engineers
+ Develops and documents the processes by which the team operates
+ Serves as a consultant and definitive source of technical advice to other designers
+ Serves as technical lead on IC development projects
+ Works with the customer to understand and refine requirements, rapidly identifying technical constraints, leading feasibility studies where required, developing system-level architectures and providing internal costings
+ Works with suppliers, where required, to understand and select processes & products for the design
+ Assists with or leads wider technical activities such as silicon verification, qualification, failure analysis and production test design, as required, lending expertise to these activities
# Experience / Qualifications
+ A university degree, most probably a master's in Physics or Engineering, possibly with a postgraduate degree (e.g. PhD)
+ Extensive experience of block and system level IC design and verification, having served as a technical lead on multiple successful design cycles and having acquired an appreciable postgraduate-level technical skillset, including layout techniques, and of the physical processes that underpin IC design
+ A proficiency with system-level modelling languages such as VHDL, Verilog, etc.
+ Contributes fresh ideas & creative solutions, and seeks to improve design processes
+ Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
+ Strong organisation, planning and time management skills

We are looking for a Principal HVDC Transmission Transformer Design Engineer (Electrical) to join the HVDC Transformer Centre of Excellence in Stafford, UK, bringing deep technical knowledge in transformer electrical and mechanical design, typically gained in 10/15 years of experience.
In this key role, you will ensure that our transformer products are developed in accordance with the highest standards in design, quality, and manufacturing.
Reporting directly to the Site Leader, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating design risks early in the process, ensuring robust and reliable solutions for high-voltage direct current (HVDC) applications that support the global green energy transition.
**Job Description**
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Technical support on FAT and Site issues
+ Technical communication with customers and suppliers to present and discuss our analysis with compelling arguments.
+ Technical support factory on design and material related issues
+ Design review Leadership to ensure the product is designed according to design, quality & manufacturing best practices, and that the specific risks are properly identified and addressed.
