Location: Hybrid - Sandbach, Cheshire - the requirement is to be on-site 2 days per week.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (37.5 hours)

Please note that holding a current Security Clearance is not essential at the time of application, but eligibility is required.
This role requires the successful candidate to be eligible for Security Check (SC) clearance . To meet this requirement, applicants must:

About The Role:We’re looking for a highly skilled Telecoms Engineer to join our technical platform function, supporting the development and evolution of our secure voice and communications infrastructure.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining and developing Asterisk-based platforms , optimising SIP and VoIP systems, and supporting integrations that enable secure, reliable communications across our customer base. Working closely with development and platform teams, you’ll ensure our systems are resilient, scalable and future-ready.
As this role supports secure communications, candidates must be eligible for UK Security Check (SC) clearance and comfortable working within a security-minded environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, maintain and optimise Asterisk -based systems.
- Manage and troubleshoot SIP registrations , call routing and VoIP infrastructure .
- Monitor and enhance performance, resilience and security of telecoms services.
- Develop and support API integrations between telecoms platforms and backend systems.
- Implement call flow logic , dialplans and routing rules for operational efficiency.
- Investigate and resolve telecoms-related incidents and performance issues.
- Contribute to documentation, process improvement and technical best practice.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Platform, Development, Security) to deliver new capabilities.
- Delivering a resilient, stable telecoms platform with strong uptime and minimal incidents.
- Documented, secure integrations between voice and backend systems.
- Established monitoring and reporting processes to maintain performance and compliance.
- Demonstrated collaboration across Platform, Cloud and Development teams.

Requirements
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience with Asterisk or similar PBX/softswitch platforms.
- Strong understanding of SIP protocols , VoIP and call routing .
- Experience with Linux environments (Debian/Ubuntu/CentOS).
- Networking knowledge (UDP/TCP, NAT, firewalls).
- Proficiency with SQL databases for call detail records (CDR) and reporting.
- Experience supporting or developing telecoms-related API integrations .
- Ability to diagnose and resolve performance or interoperability issues.
Desirable:
- Experience with SBC configuration/management .
- Familiarity with Kamailio , FreeSWITCH or OpenSIPS .
- Knowledge of WebRTC , TLS/SRTP or other encryption protocols.
- Basic scripting in Python , Bash or PHP for automation.
- Exposure to fraud detection or call analytics tools.

About the roleWe are looking for a Billing Analyst to join our team in Glasgow.
The purpose of this role is to ensure that our customers receive accurate invoices and reports within a timely manner. Our aim is to provide support across various departments in relation to customer invoices and reports and to ensure the information we provide is accurate and customer friendly. The role will ensure that we support the business’s purpose and values by working well as a team to achieve the best outcome for the organisation and for our customers.
The Billing Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of customer billing. This role involves managing ad hoc billing requests, analysing Call Data Records (CDR) trends, investigating billing discrepancies, and supporting resolution of customer billing tickets.
Please note that this is a Hybrid role with onsite requirement 3 days a week. You must be able to commute to the office and have your own transport.
What you’ll do- Ad Hoc Billing: Prepare and process non-standard or one-time customer invoices; ensure all ad hoc charges are documented and approved in accordance with company policy.
- Billing Accuracy & Validation: Reconcile invoices against system data, rate plans, and contractual terms to identify and correct discrepancies.
- CDR Analysis: Monitor and analyse CDR trends to detect anomalies, usage spikes, or potential revenue leakage.
- Ticket Management: Review and resolve billing-related support tickets in a timely manner, coordinating with internal teams (Finance, Operations, Customer Support) as needed.
- Reporting & Insights: Manage existing customer dashboards; provide insights on recurring billing & trends.
- Ensure Billing Accuracy: Maintain 100% accuracy in billing outputs through regular validation, reconciliation, and variance analysis.
- Support Ad Hoc Billing Requests: Deliver all non-standard or custom billing requirements within agreed turnaround times.
- Optimize Ticket Resolution: Reduce billing-related ticket resolution time and enhance customer experience through timely, accurate responses.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager managing the delivery of projects, initiating and managing delivery controls and support and providing proportionate assurance. They are responsible for designing & delivering client projects, understand the value of the different project methodologies, alongside contributing to our practice approaches and collateral so that knowledge is retained and reused.
The post-holder will be part of the growing Business Change practice, reporting to the Head of Change Delivery. We are looking for individuals who have experience of successful project delivery, a background in digital and technological projects and a strong Agile methodology skillset, alongside wider PPM skills and a broad understanding of the UK public services landscape with experience in different sectors.
In addition to demonstrable stakeholder engagement skills, they will have a good understanding about the challenges faced in public sector delivery and an interest in innovating with new techniques and technology to support the effective project delivery.
