Your new role
We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager with solid Business Analysis skills to lead, drive and coordinate virtual teams of over 100 people, working with external partners and suppliers to deliver against business objectives. This project is focussed around Network Services
You will be personable, engaging and able to build brilliant relationships across a wide range of stakeholders. You will be working in a highly complex, fast paced environment where you will be responsible for creating and leading an integrated team to deliver end-to-end projects ensuring they have a valid business benefit, deliver on time, within budget and to agreed quality criteria from conception through to launch and transition into operations.
You will manage a virtual team of up to 100 people, including a number of 3rd party Suppliers, providing strong leadership across a number of Projects, depending on size and complexity.
You will have technical business analysis experience to ensure requirements are captured across a variety of stakeholders. You will proactively solve conflict situations through problem-solving, negotiation, open communication and direct influencing. Your ultimate objective will be to drive successful security transformation across our technology, people and process using agile methodologies, allowing our client to continue providing the most secure and resilient network to all our customers, making us the most trusted connector of people, devices and networks.
What you'll need to succeed
Technical / IT Business analyst experience is a must as requirements capturing will be a key part of this role. Excellent knowledge of and experience with network infrastructure (hardware, software, development), IT (ideally in identity and access) and security products and services. End to end professional experience delivering medium to large projects (<5m) within a Gated Project Governance process. Excellent track record in project delivery within a fast paced, Technology environment in the telecoms business using a range of internal and external suppliers to deliver.Experience working with a range of stakeholders, up to 'Director of' levelsStrong verbal and written communication skills, particularly for presentations and creation of plans.Being a change agent adopting continuous improvement where possible.

My client is seeking a talented and experienced Network Solutions Architect to join their high-performing Network Services team, delivering on the prestigious Emergency Services Network (ESN) programme. This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to help modernise and transform how the UKs Emergency Services and Blue Light organisations communicate - directly supporting mission-critical operations and improving public safety outcomes across the country.
As a Network Solutions Architect, you will be instrumental in supporting the ESN Onboarding contract, responsible for architecting, planning, and overseeing the integration of multiple services onto the ESN platform. You'll ensure alignment with key programme milestones while maintaining delivery within time and budget constraints.
You'll be working across a complex, multi-vendor environment involving government bodies, telcos, and systems integrators to deliver cutting-edge solutions covering:
- Wide Area Networks (WAN)
- Secure Internet Gateways
- SD-WAN overlays and traffic segmentation
- Enterprise-grade Wi-Fi & LAN solutions
- Data Centre connectivity and edge integration
- Resilient backhaul and encryption
- Support for MCX (Mission Critical Services) across mobile and fixed-line networks
Who You Are -
Youre a confident and experienced Network Architect with a proven ability to lead from concept to delivery. You can articulate design decisions, anticipate challenges in critical environments, and manage stakeholder expectations with ease.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience architecting and delivering solutions in Emergency Services, Blue Light, Public Sector, or mission-critical environments.
- Deep technical understanding of WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, and secure cloud connectivity, with real-world experience in design and implementation.
- Familiarity with ESN architecture, including knowledge of Airwave, 3GPP MCX services, and E2E Quality of Service models.
- Experience designing network integration with public mobile networks and understanding of private APN routing, VPNs, firewall policies, and multi-zone DMZs.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, or similar platforms.
- Experience with network configuration, PoC testing, integration validation, and security accreditation processes.
- Exceptional customer-facing skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Due to the sensitive nature of the work, you must be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC).
