Are you an experienced field-based technician with a background in telecoms or data cabling? Are you looking for a mobile and varied role where you'll work independently and represent a trusted brand?
Established for over a decade, this leading provider of temporary wireless connectivity and data solutions to construction sites, including housebuilders, and both public and private sector projects. With over 60 employees and ambitious plans to grow, the company is expanding its northern field engineering team to support increased demand.
In this role, you will report to the Field Services Manager and operate as part of a remote team of engineers. You'll be responsible for the installation and commissioning of wireless and data connectivity systems across sites in your region, with occasional national travel. You'll be based from home and provided with all the tools, training, and support you need to succeed.
This role would suit a technically minded and proactive individual with field experience in telecoms or a similar installation-based background. You'll be happy to liaise work independently, liaise with clients and do frequent travel across your region.
The Role:
- Carry out installations, configurations, and commissioning of temporary connectivity equipment on construction sites
- Represent the company brand professionally and provide outstanding customer service on-site
- Manage equipment, stock, and job administration using internal systems
- Work safely at height, with hand tools and ladders, adhering to health and safety standards
The Person:
- Experienced in telecoms or installation roles
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
- Confident using hand tools, working at heights, and managing stock
- Basic IT skills and willingness to learn company systems
- Holds a Full UK Driving Licence
