Purpose of the role

As an IT Project Manager at Movianto, you will play a critical role in overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT projects related to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and Web Solutions. Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for WMS, TMS, and Web Solutions projects.
  • Lead project kick-off meetings and clearly define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Manage project resources, including internal teams and external contractors, to ensure timely and on-budget project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.

WMS, TMS, and Web Solutions Expertise:

  • Leverage your extensive knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and Web Solutions to guide project implementation.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to customise and configure solutions to meet specific business requirements.
  • Ensure the integration of WMS, TMS, and Web Solutions with existing IT systems and business processes.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Maintain clear and open communication channels with project stakeholders, including senior management, IT teams, and end-users.
  • Provide regular project status updates and reports, highlighting key milestones and issues.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the reliability and accuracy of systems.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation to guarantee system functionality and performance.

Change Management:

  • Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth transitions during system implementations.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to maximise system adoption and proficiency.

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and technical documentation.

Experience/Skills Required

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

Proven experience as an IT Project Manager with a focus on Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and Web Solutions.

Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics operations.

Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Knowledge of healthcare and pharmaceutical industry regulations is advantageous.
