- Proven experience managing complex budgets and financial resources in a scientific or academic setting.
- Strong understanding of laboratory operations, safety protocols, and scientific equipment.
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing teams.
- Excellent strategic planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with academics, researchers, and external stakeholders.
- Experience with project management methodologies and infrastructure development is essential.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Cell line and primary cell culture - expanding cells and ensuring sufficient cell stocks are available
- Performing biological assays (e.g. ELISA’s, fluorescent microscopy, DNA/RNA extractions, qPCR)
- Completing data analysis to produce reliable and precise reports that can be provide to clients/customers and work to meet deadlines.
- Maintaining and operating standard laboratory equipment and following the company’s HSE policies and procedures to ensure the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues.
Ideal Candidate:
- BSc (or equivalent) in a Biology related discipline with experience in a similar role in industry.
- Expertise in mammalian cell cultures and ELISAs
- Experience in primary cell culture, qPCR/RT-PCR and microscopy would be desirable
