You'll collaborate with top industry professionals, gain hands on experience with cutting edge technologies, and deliver solutions that create real business impact. From day one, you'll work on meaningful, high profile programmes that stretch your skills and accelerate your growth.
We invest heavily in you--supporting continuous learning, in demand skills development, and long term career progression. You'll thrive in a flexible, inclusive environment that values curiosity, encourages reinvention, and recognises what makes you unique.

The Role
You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, working on modern applications spanning both front-end and back-end technologies, with exposure to cloud-based environments.
Alongside hands-on development, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of smaller workstreams, contribute to technical decisions, and support the development of less experienced engineers within the team.

* Take ownership of smaller features or workstreams within wider delivery programmes
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
* Support and mentor junior developers within the team
* Contribute to development standards, best practices, and technical direction
* Work within secure environments, ensuring quality, performance, and maintainability
**Required technical and professional expertise**
* Strong full-stack development experience, including:
- Front-end technologies (e.g. JavaScript, React or Angular, HTML, CSS)
- Back-end development (e.g. Java/Spring Boot or Node.js) * Experience working with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP), ideally within enterprise or secure environments
* Experience using:
- Version control (Git)
- CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices * Strong problem-solving capability and ability to work through complex technical challenges
* Comfortable communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Experience working within larger teams or delivery environments
As an equal opportunities' employer, we welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds. However, for you to be eligible for this role, you must have the valid right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we do not offer visa sponsorship and have no future plans to do so. You must be a resident in the UK and have been living continuously in the UK for the last 10 years. You must be able to hold or gain a UK government security clearance.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Exposure to containerisation technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
* Familiarity with microservices or event-driven architectures
* Understanding of cloud security and best practices
* Experience working in regulated or security-sensitive environments
IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
