Microsoft House is seeking a talented and driven Cloud Engineer to join its Glasgow-based team. This permanent role offers a hybrid working model, requiring just one day per week onsite. You'll play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-based solutions using Microsoft technologies, with a focus on O365 , M365 , and Azure .
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure.
- Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 and Office 365 environments.
- Ensure security, compliance, and governance across cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud transformation projects.

Required Skills & Experience

- Azure Active Directory, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online
- Experience with cloud security, monitoring, and automation.
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, CLI).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AZ-104 , MS-100 , MS-101 ) are highly desirable.

You'll be joining the Cloud team within NTT Data, working alongside experienced engineers and architects who deliver technical solutions and managed services to a diverse customer base, including government clients in the financial sector. The team operates collaboratively, with a strong focus on technical excellence, continuous improvement, and client satisfaction. The role is primarily remote, with occasional office visits required for scheduled meetings. **The role requires SC clearance.**
**What you'll be doing:**
As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you'll be responsible for the hands-on technical delivery of cloud solutions and managed services.
+ Building and deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure (IaaS and PaaS)
+ Monitoring Azure environments and resolving technical issues
+ Troubleshooting Windows and network-related problems
+ Responding to and resolving incident tickets
+ Supporting root cause analysis and contributing to service improvement initiatives
+ Automating tasks using PowerShell and cloud-native tools
+ Participating in client meetings and collaborating with customers to resolve technical issues
+ Providing on-call and out-of-hours support for server patching and maintenance
**What experience you'll bring:**
You'll bring experience in a technical engineering role, with a strong foundation in Azure cloud services and automation.
+ Proven expertise in Azure IaaS and PaaS environments
+ Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
+ Experience in Windows (and optionally Linux) administration
+ Familiarity with Azure DevOps and cloud-native Infrastructure as Code tools
+ Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
+ Certification: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) is mandatory
+ Additional Microsoft certifications are encouraged
+ Experience working with public sector clients is advantageous
