Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
+ Review & analyze customer functional and non-functional requirements and prepare an optimal Solution architecture that meet standardization, consolidation, Total Cost of Ownership, security, regulatory compliance, and application system qualities
+ Involve & coordinate other SME (Subject Matter experts) in different architecture domains (Technology (Network, Infrastructure, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data, Applications) and refine the Solution Architecture up to L3/Implementation level,
+ Own the Solution Architecture design deliverables (HLD - High-Level Design documents, and LLD - Low-Level Design documents)
+ Establishes and maintains a repository of Template/ Reference architectures
+ Lead and coordinate technical and business discussions relative to cloud architecture direction & migration
+ Provides customer facing consultancy on highly complex projects. Builds strategic relationships with customers and provides guidance on the application of GE Vernova products and technologies to efficiently and securely deliver business value.
Skills & Qualifications
The IT Infrastructure / Cloud Architect shall have a general knowledge of the different components of a typical target solution architecture:
+ Proven expertise in **cloud platforms** (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and **hybrid cloud architectures**
+ Strong background in **on-prem infrastructure** : VMware, Windows/Linux servers, enterprise storage, networking
+ Experience in **data center to cloud migration** and **legacy system modernization**
+ Skilled in **containers & orchestration** (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
+ Knowledge of **identity & access management** (Active Directory, Azure AD, SSO/federation)
+ Hands-on experience with enterprise security frameworks, compliance, and Zero Trust principles
+ Proficient in **disaster recovery** , **high availability** , and **business continuity** planning
+ Competent in **monitoring** , **observability** , and **automation** (Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, Ansible/Terraform)

+ significant experience as IT Infrastructure / Cloud Architect

+ Excellent interpersonal, oral/presentation and written communication skills in both technical and non-technical language. Professional English level.

What you'll do
- Use your deep knowledge of Azure cloud services to design resilient, scalable and secure cloud environments covering the full breadth of the Azure platform
- Design and implement Azure Landing Zones to establish a scalable, secure and compliant foundation for deploying cloud services.
- Lead complex migrations for on-premises infrastructure, applications, and databases to Azure.
- Develop solutions for Edge and Hybrid scenarios by integrating Azure Stack and other technologies to extend Azure capabilities to on-premises environments and edge devices.
- Architect and deploy Cloud Native solutions using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps.
