Environmental Enforcement Officers enforce local laws to protect the area from litter, dog fouling, various other breaches and local bye-law violations. You will be issuing tickets and notices to those who breach these.

So, what can you expect as an EEO? 

As an overview, the role is to help members of the public by patrolling the streets and upholding environmental conducts.  If you like the idea of that, please read on to get a better insight into the role.

What will you do?

  • Monitor and enforce laws within the area, make enquiries and pursue action where appropriate.
  • Examine reports of littering, fly tipping and dog fouling and other similar offences.
  • Be able to issue Fixed Penalty Notices for offences where appropriate.
  • Prepare and submit relevant cases for trial and assist legal services in presenting cases to court and attending as a witness when needed.
  • Record witness statements and conduct interviews under caution when required.
  • Validate and verify personal details of offenders.
  • And finally, build good working relations with key investors and other agencies including the Police.

What will you bring?

  • Experience of enforcement work (including security work) preferred
  • Knowledge of green services such as cleansing, and waste collection is desired.
  • Be able adapt and engage with different audiences and work as part of a team.
  • Be able to deal with complaints and resolve complex issues.
  • Enthusiasm and a positive ‘can do’ attitude to work.
  • A full clean driving licence.

  • Assist the Land / New Business department during the pre-development programme and in certain instances to lead on land acquisition or renegotiation of terms on existing projects. Give advice to ensure all development issues are addressed in outline at the outset prior to conclusion of the purchase process and where appropriate coordination with the Technical team.
  • Ensuring the active involvement of the Development Team to facilitate early Handover of prospective Development sites from the Land / New Business Team to the full Project Team
  • Settlement of the Construction Budget and programme, monitoring all Developments through a thorough review of development co-ordination checklists on a regular basis. Set realistic programmes to determine construction starts, sales opening and selling periods.
  • Management of the relevant Development Budgets and programme information in line with the Development Appraisal system at all times.
  • Liaison with the Legal department / appointed Solicitor / Technical department as required to ensure all relevant documentation is available at the requisite time including:
    • Conveyance Plans
    • Section 38 / 104 Agreements
    • Open Space Agreements
    • Service Wayleaves / Easements
    • Freehold Transfer Contracts
  • Carry out duties in compliance with the Company’s ISO9001 accreditation.
  • Support the Group Environmental Policy.
  • Prepare and submit a Post Investment Review and Ensure Project Close out Reports are completed and concluded, where appropriate via the Technical Team.
  • Drive the progress of each project by active management and mitigate against slippage, to ensure the Development Programme is delivered to set timescales.
  • Carry out Land Appraisals using Group software and ensure accurate ongoing monitoring and updating for budgeting purposes.
  • Prepare reports and risk registers to gain internal approvals and ensure audit compliance.
  • Appoint Solicitors via the framework. Work with land agents and appointed legal advisors to negotiate and agree land contracts, ensuring any development related matters are fully resolved prior to entering contracts.
  • Work with clients and their agents to negotiate and agree the form of building contract (Development Agreement or JCT) in conjunction with the Legal Director and other internal stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Appoint and manage consultant teams e.g. architects, engineers, to produce scheme specific information and ensure the timely submission of schemes to the appropriate planning authority and statutory bodies in line with agreed timescales.
  • Procure suitable supporting information e.g. surveys, reports, assessments etc. required to support the planning process and enable sufficient pre delivery planning/design.
  • Maintain excellent communication with the project team and internal stakeholders to ensure relevant information is correctly shared and circulated, and all actions are progressed in a timely manner.
  • Identify and mitigate against risk and work with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders to manage risk prestart on site.
  • When required, organise and lead/ attend client meetings acting in a professional manner to positively represent the company at all times.
  • Follow the internal development process, ensuring all systems are maintained with accurate information at all times.
  • Resolve problems in collaboration with the project teams and colleagues and share learning to champion continuous improvement and ensure successful delivery of schemes.
  • Promote and represent the company when appropriate in order to maximise development opportunities and the reputation of the company.
  • When required, assess new business opportunities, undertake feasibility work, and prepare ‘offer documentation’ as required.

  • Undertake the Principal Designer role as defined within the Construction Design & Management Regulation 2015 and completion of all necessary Health, Safety & Environmental documents, in line with Group Policy & procedures.
  • Co-ordinate delivery of surveys & reports required for the development and manage associated requirements from design to completion.
  • Manage the process of obtaining consultant fee proposals and formal appointment documents in accordance with Group procedures.
  • Co-ordinate consultants to deliver the civil engineering designs including legal plans and the house type working drawing packs.

The candidate will jointly lead and influence customers from initial opportunity discovery through proposal development and deal closure while collaborating closely with Dell sales, delivery, product, and partner teams.

This role carries sales pipeline joint-ownership within an aligned pod of professionals, quota-bearing objectives, and requires the ability to manage multiple active pursuits simultaneously across a diverse customer set.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Motion & Business Development
    • Lead technical presales engagements across multiple concurrent customer opportunities.
    • Lead the development of services proposals in collaboration with other Dell teams and customer stakeholders.
    • Facilitate consultative workshops with customers to;
      • Understand key customer challenges and position Dell Technologies services value
      • Translate business requirements into actionable proposals with outcomes aligned to measurable business outcomes.
      • Confidently communicate vision and value proposition to technical and executive audiences
    • Serve as the accountable technical SME driving deal progression, revenue attainment, and closure.
    • Partner with Sales Executives, Business Development Managers, Account Managers, and Service Delivery teams to jointly develop, qualify, and advance pipeline opportunities.
    • Support sales forecasting, reporting, pipeline management, and quota achievement.
    • Structure deals to meet customer needs while aligning Dell’s services portfolio, delivery capabilities, and financial objectives.
    • Entrepreneurial focus to drive innovation, efficiency, process/IP improvement opportunities, coach and enable Dell sales and presales teams on AI/Data solution positioning, capabilities, and value articulation.
    • Build and maintain a strong personal network across Dell’s global sales, product, engineering, and partner ecosystem to effectively orchestrate deal success.
  • Customer Engagement & Executive Communication
    • Lead consultative discovery workshops with business and technical executives to identify AI/Data/GenAI solution opportunities and strategies.
    • Workes with other technical PreSales teams to translate business objectives into actionable technical architectures and service proposals.
    • Develop and deliver compelling customer presentations, demos, proposals, and design sessions to both executive and technical audiences.
    • Manage customer expectations across complex solution lifecycles with strong delegation, accountability, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Technical Solution Leadership
  • Architect Services end-to-end data and AI solutions across data pipelines, data lakes, data governance, AI model pipelines, and enterprise AI platforms.
  • Apply knowledge of GenAI-specific data ingestion, vector store integration, RAG pipelines, agentic frameworks, and multi-modal data management.
  • Collaborate on AI platform designs leveraging Dell’s product and partner ecosystem e.g. NVAIE, Run.ai, H2O.ai, ClearML, OpenShift, etc.
  • Provide expert guidance on modern data stack components: data quality, metadata management, observability, data products, feature stores, with governance and Dell’s maturity model frameworks.
  • Stay current on emerging AI and associated Data Management technologies.
  • Actively contribute field feedback to Dell’s product management and service development teams to shape evolving offerings.

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 15+ years of enterprise consulting, presales, or technical solution development experience
  • Typically 5+ years of experience designing and delivering AI/ML solutions with extensive emphasis on data integration, data pipelines, and data platform architectures.
  • Typically 4+ years in a quota-carrying technical presales, client partner, or solution principal role.
  • Experience supporting sales forecasting, pipeline management, deal structuring, and sales coaching.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML and Data Management frameworks and tools (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Spark, Databricks etc.)
  • Experience in on-premise data center infrastructures relevant to AI/ML, Data and Data Management
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and internal stakeholder management skills.
  • Exceptional presentation, proposal development, and executive storytelling capabilities.
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 50%.
  • Desirable Requirements
  • Master’s degree or equivalent advanced technical/business training.
  • Experience implementing AI governance, model management, and AI risk frameworks in a consultative setting and related process framework.
  • Familiarity with Dell product portfolio, including Dell NVIDIA AI Factory, PowerScale, ObjectScale, Dell Data Lakehouse. 
  • Familiarity with Dell services sales methodologies and governance models.
  • Experience working with large enterprise, healthcare, manufacturing, energy, federal, or regulated industries.
  • Understanding of security, DevSecOps, and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures.
  • Negotiation, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
