Sales Development Executive
Our client is on a mission to help 10,000 people achieve financial freedom through smart, long-term property investing. They are a values-led property company based in the North East of England, looking to do things differently.
Location: Gateshead – Office based
Salary: £24,000 – £5,000 base + uncapped commission | OTE: 5,000 – £5 000
Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week; Monday – Friday; Flexible between 8am – 6pm)
Role Overview
Our client is growing fast, and this is an exciting time to join them. They are recruiting a driven salesperson to achieve the next stage of expansion. The sales team is the engine that drives their investments business, and this new target-driven role will help increase their client base, revenue pipeline and meet their ambitious sales targets.
This role involves overseeing the first half of the sales cycle, from lead generation and calling warm leads, evaluating leads, building relationships, and booking qualified leads into their closers’ diaries. They are seeking a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, someone who thrives in a sales and target-driven environment, with previous experience. You'll be determined, driven, and resilient.
The Package:
- Basic salary per annum: £24,00 – £2 000, depending on experience.
- OTE of 5,000 – £5 000 through uncapped commission.
- Pension Scheme.

- 25 days (pro-rata if part-time) in the complete holiday year, plus additional day off for your birthday. As part of this you are required to take leave on the (Non-UK Bank Holiday) days between 25th of December and 1st of January.
- The holiday year runs from 1st of April to 31st of March.
- Plus, public/bank holidays.
- Employee will be provided with a phone and laptop.

Progression Path
Top performers in this role will have the opportunity to progress into their Investment Consultant team, managing the closing part of the sales cycle and earning a higher base and OTE of 5,000 – £6 000.
What You'll Be Doing
This sales role that involves full-cycle sales responsibility:
- Generating your own leads through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn and other outreach.
- Qualifying prospects.
- Building rapport and managing your own pipeline.
- Closing clients onto one of our client’s property investment packages.
Responsibilities and Duties (include but are not limited to):
- Researching and identifying potential clients (property investors).
- Calling, emailing and messaging prospects to generate interest.
- Qualifying leads against clear criteria.
- Booking viable, high-quality appointments into their closers’ diaries.
- Hitting weekly and monthly KPIs around outreach volume and bookings.
- Keeping detailed notes in the CRM and updating pipelines.
- Working with the sales and marketing teams to optimise messaging and lead quality.
- Preparing weekly and monthly sales forecasts reports.
- Being an ambassador of their brand, understanding and promoting the company and their services.
- Continuously learning and improving.

 It is expected that the technician must have a good understanding of mechanical and electrical principles used within hydraulic systems. Hand and power tools, as well as specialised testing and measuring equipment will be used as part of the role.
 
 This position will provide a varied and challenging role, with the opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their skills and industry knowledge, while we support you in your personal career progression.
 
 Main Duties:  
-  Mechanical assembly of systems against drawings. 
-  Wiring of electrical power AC and control DC systems against diagrams. 
-  Testing and commissioning of electro-hydraulic systems. 
-  Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems. 
-  Bending of rigid tube and pipes using manual and electrical bender. 
-  Manufacture of hydraulic hose assemblies. 
-  Flushing of hose assemblies, pipework, and complete systems.

-  Servicing of hydraulic systems in autonomy.
