So, what can you expect as a Civil Enforcement Officer?

You’ll be helping members of the public, patrolling streets and council car parks, advising and upholding parking restrictions. Yes, you’ll be issuing parking tickets, but you won’t have targets as this job is about creating a positive impact on the local community.

  • You will be reporting any defects to street furniture, such as signs and road markings and looking out for any violations of civil laws.
  • You will keep a detailed log of the violations and debrief incidents that occur during your shift.
  • You will provide a high level of all-round customer service, providing the public with useful information and advice.

Where you’ll be working

Facilities at the centre currently include a multi-use sports hall, communal area, kitchen and external multi-use games area.Plans are in progress to develop the future of the centre to provide a successful Sport and Fitness hub to residents.

The centre is currently open for existing block bookings and we will be extending the opening hours to the public as follows:

  • weekdays from 9am to 10pm.
  • weekends from 9am to 6pm.

You’ll be working 36 hours per week on a rota which will include a mix of daytime, evening and weekends shifts. Until the centre is fully operational, you may be required to work at other off-site locations.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll manage the Borough’s Active Hampton Sport & Fitness Centre and work with internal and external partners to improve the facilities, develop services and schedule a new comprehensive and balanced adult and junior programme at the centre, in line with the Council’s Sport and Leisure Strategy.

Once fully operational, you'll have direct supervision for a team of permanent staff members (and a bank of casual staff members). You'll be developing your new staff through 1-2-1s, appraisals and team meetings.

Your workload will cover programming, finance, health & safety, marketing, quality assurance, facility development and staff management.

You’ll also be expected to step in and act as Duty Manager when required, getting involved in the day to day operations.

You must hold a suitable sport/leisure/recreation or relevant management qualification in order to apply for this role and must be First Aid qualified.

Objective of the Role

You will lead the daytime Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) Service across Richmond and Wandsworth, ensuring high-quality, effective, and efficient service delivery.As AMHP Team Manager, you will provide professional leadership, supervision, and support to AMHPs, oversee statutory responsibilities under the Mental Health Act, and contribute to continuous service improvement.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and manage the Richmond and Wandsworth AMHP Service, fostering a positive team culture.
  • Supervise the daytime AMHPs and ensure compliance with legislation and professional standards.
  • Oversee and monitor Richmond and Wandsworth’s social supervision responsibilities for conditionally discharged patients under section 42.
  • Carry out Mental Health Act assessments on behalf of the service
  • Work in partnership with the Mental Health Trust, Police, Ambulance Services, and other agencies.
  • Ensure timely responses to referrals during daytime hours as part of the wider 24-hour service.
  • Maintain performance against national and local targets.
  • Promote good communication and ensure accurate, timely case recording.

  • Support AMHP trainees and support succession planning.
  • Provide cover for the Lead AMHP when required.
  • Be responsive and flexible to the needs of the service

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Registration as a Social Worker and current AMHP qualification.
  • Be approved or have been approved as an AMHP by a local authority within the last 5 years
  • Maintained the AMHP regulations annual training requirements
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the Mental Health Act, case law, and MOJ requirements for social supervisors.
  • Up to date knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and children and adult safeguarding
  • Experience managing and leading staff and working in partnerships with multiple agencies.
  • Strong risk assessment and management skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Proven ability to manage change and represent the local authority externally.

English SEMH Teacher – Special Needs Provision Outer London (Sutton & Merton) M1 – M6 | PAYE only Start Date:  November 2025/January 2026

We are seeking an inspirational and dedicated English SEMH Teacher to join specialist schools in Merton.  This role is ideal for a teacher who thrives on supporting pupils with SEMH(Social, Emotional and Mental Health), Autism, trauma, and those who are disengaged with education.

About the Role As an English SEMH Teacher , you will:

Deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated English lessons to small groups of pupils with a primary diagnosis of Autism, SEMH, complex needs, and learning difficulties .

Plan and teach functional literacy and English skills , tailored to each pupil’s individual learning plan.

Focus on improving communication, reading, and writing confidence , helping students find enjoyment and success in English.

Work collaboratively with the school’s multidisciplinary team —including therapists and support staff—to ensure pupils’ social, emotional, and academic progress.

Foster a safe, nurturing classroom environment where students can express themselves and develop a love of learning.

Requirements You will need:

QTS or QTLS , ideally with a specialism in English .

Proven experience teaching English  to pupils with SEMH(Social, Emotional and Mental Health), Autism, trauma, and those who are disengaged with education.

A Child and Adult Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

A creative, patient, and resilient approach to supporting vulnerable learners.

Competitive salary: 43,625 basic salary (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance), with the opportunity to earn up to 58,000
Sociable hours: 40 per week, 8am4:30pm, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays

The Role
As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair (SMR) division, youll bring your expert knowledge and problem-solving skills directly to our members wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, youll deliver first-class service without the limitations of a traditional garage.

What Were Looking For
Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
At least 3 years hands-on experience as a vehicle technician on light vehicles
A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

This role is perfect for you if youre great with customers as well as cars. Youll enjoy varietydiagnostics, repairs, servicing, and checksand be confident making decisions on the spot. Youll take pride in doing a quality job every time, delivering the complete peace of mind that comes from the RAC.
