This is a Permanent role, working 14 hours per week.
As a Support Worker, you will be supporting the people live a varied and active life and like to be out and about, busy getting on with things.
The shifts are varied and generally include a mixture between 7am- 4.30/5pm, 3.30/4.30pm-10pm on weekdays and 7am-2.30pm and 2.30pm-10pm on weekends. Flexibility is essential to support the valuable service we provide.
*If you live outside of Spalding, to be considered for the role you will need use of your own vehicle to get to and from the service for early/late shifts due to very limited public transport.

- Provide information to support the creation of customer and factory specifications which lead to the production of accurate and appropriate product labelling information
- Responsible for the planning, preparation and successful execution of process development and line trials to deliver customer requirements and process improvements
- Provide process guidance and advice to cross functional manufacturing teams to promote adoption of new practices or process for increased efficiency

Here at Wisbech , we have a team of 525 colleagues and manufacture premium chilled ready to cook meals for major retailers such as Sainsbury's, Aldi and Co-op.
What you'll be doing
In this role, your goal is to service the production line with materials as per line schedule in a timely manner to avoid any downtime waiting for raw materials.
To inform the Production Supervisor of any problems concerning raw material availability that may affect the quality of the lines finished product and efficiency of the line
- Communication with production managers and Coordinators.
- Locating & batching raw materials ready for the next run.
- Ensuring these batched items are the correct code with useable shelf life
- Transporting these materials to the line on change over
- Removing materials from the previous run from the line
- `topping up' materials on the line to ensure sufficient stock is available for use during each production run
- To ensure adherence to all appropriate systems and procedures; HACCP and H&S.
- You'll also be making sure that your job is done to a high degree of accuracy and speed in line with company expectations.

What we're looking for
Full training will be provided if successful in this role but are looking for the following knowledge and experience:
- Prior experience as a machine operator.
- Strong knowledge of a heavy duty and high-speed machinery.
- Strong ability to use measurement tools.
- Good understanding of production procedures and best practices.
- Excellent knowledge of safety methods and hazard regulations.
- Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and handbooks.
- Good physical stamina and keen attention to detail.
