The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Plant Accountant to join our Finance Team here at March. Reporting to the Plant Accountant, the role will be responsible for providing vital support to the finance team in various aspects of accounting and financial management. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, and cost control while working closely with senior accountants and finance managers.

Key responsibilites of this role:
- Support Plant Accountant to provide professional, reliable and accurate and timely reporting on business performance
 - Provide cover to the Plant Accountant in periods of absence
 - Support Health and Safety initiatives at site
 - Assist in the controlling and understanding of general ledger
 - Perform month-end close activities such as producing and reviewing reports, posting journal entries, reviewing and reconciling accounts, and calculating accruals, provisions and prepayments
 - Supporting to ensure SOX reporting is timely and accurate, including all balance sheet reconciliations and order to cash system controls
 - Provide cover to both the Credit Controller and Accounts Payable
 - Support the month end financial reporting pack and submission
 - Support the Budgeting and RF cycle processes
 - Support the reporting and analysis on the sites CTO projects
 - Review and resolving webcycle queries
 - Assist line managers with and submit vendor creation requests
 
The successful candidate will ideally be someone who has a relevant finance degree or who has achieved their AAT qualification and is committed to studying for the CIMA qualification. A Level entry level into AAT will also be considered. Previous work experience in a finance team for a large organisation is desirable, but not essential

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to actively progress the business in all aspects of the Corrugator within production. The role will be responsible for the operational functions of the process area to ensure the output requirements of the business are met and to exceed targets for safety, efficiency, output, quality and waste.
Key Responsibilites of the role:
- Supporting development of the Corrugator team ensuring that all system processes, health, safety and quality systems are trained and adhered to
 - Supporting development of the Corrugator team with completing appraisals and identifying areas of development/training

 - Development of new process working documents and delivering training

 - Establish and maintain regular feedback and information flow between the corrugator, conversion, despatch and customer services to secure smooth product flow.
 - Oversee maintenance works across the production area and plan the preventive initiatives in close conjunction with the Engineering Department to secure availability of required capacities
 - Ensure appropriate product / machinery allocation and undertake the corrective actions if required to ensure the optimal output in terms of quality and costs
 
The successful candidate should have:

About the roleAbout the role
Cambridgeshire County Council Targeted Support Service are looking to recruit a Young People's Worker on a part time basis (18.5 hours per week pro rata) on a permanent basis. The job is based at Hereward Hall, March.
Young People's Worker provides support to children, young people and their families. Each Targeted Support Team consists of Family Workers, Young People’s Worker’s, Youth Participation Advisors, Client Researchers and managers. The team provides early intervention support to reduce the risk of harm and reduce escalation of problems to support keeping families together and achieve positive outcomes.
The role of Young People’s Worker (YPW) is an exciting, varied and highly skilled role supporting young people (aged 11 to 19) with intensive one to one support to enable them to reach positive outcomes. What will you be doing
You will support a caseload of young people by providing targeted interventions to support with a range of risks or needs which may include things such as child sexual and criminal exploitation, healthy relationships, at risk of exclusion from education, county lines, and anti-social behaviour.
You will complete Early Help Assessments (EHA’s) and be Lead Professional for the young person. As lead professional you will work in partnership with the multi-agency team around the family and provide tailored, targeted intervention that enables young people to achieve positive outcomes.
You will organise, plan and deliver evidence-based group work programmes that aim to support young people with topics such as emotional resilience, risk taking behaviour, healthy relationships and more. You will also support delivery of parenting programmes delivered to parents of teenagers.

Your journey as a Sales Adviser will begin with one week at the Spicerhaart Learning & Development Centre:
- Purpose-built training location
 - Industry-leading training delivered through one-to-one and group sessions

 - Fully-paid hotel stay for the duration of your training at our Learning & Development Centre in Colchester, depending on travel time and distance
 - An exciting second week at the L&D Centre within your first five-to-six weeks of employment.
 
How you will make an impact as a Sales Adviser at haart Estate Agents in March:
- Ensuring that your daily/weekly/monthly business targets are always met.
 - You will be the custodian of the Spicerhaart Ways for Valuation generation activities within the branch operation.
 - Proactively communicate with all Valuation opportunities contained within our ROSIE software system through high levels of outbound call volumes ensuring that we are always keeping in touch.
 - Ensuring that all call out campaigns targeted at properties for sale are fulfilled and that the ROSIE operating standards are maintained.
 - Attend the Morning Meeting prepared with updates on the week’s valuation pipeline.
 - Lead as the Canvassing Champion, implementing a structured door-knocking and zonal canvassing strategy in accordance with the Spicerhaart Way, tracking new listings, withdrawn properties, and opportunities to generate leads. Ensure that ROSIE is utilised appropriately to manage market leads effectively so that no lead is lost.
 - Proactively engage in daily 1:1 meetings with your line manager to identify coaching and business development opportunities.
 - Ensuring that all portal opportunities driven through Rightmove Opportunity Manager and On The Market Valuation Manager are effectively managed on a daily basis.
 - Managing and responding to intranet leads daily.
 - Using ROSIE appropriately to ensure that all Local Owner to Sell (LOTS) customers are communicated with frequently with relevant discussion always looking to close down the Valuation opportunity.
 - Generate referral business through first class customer engagement.
 - Engage in local canvassing and prospecting activities in line with company processes, including social media, door knocking, telephone prospecting, and leaflet distribution. Be responsible for building your own personal brand through frequent social media and video usage.
 - Take inbound calls ensuring that applicant registration is fulfilled in line with company training and that all opportunities for Valuations, viewings and Financial Services are identified and closed.
 - Always looking for named 5* Google review opportunities from customers that you are engaging with as to build brand and personal reputation.

The Finer Details
To be eligible to apply for this role, you will need:
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
 - Access to your own vehicle, which must be in good condition.
 - Before starting with us, you will need to provide proof of business insurance for your vehicle.
 - Ability to work both independently and within a team.
 - Basic IT proficiency and a keen eye for detail.
 - Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK as per the Immigration, Asylum, and Nationality Act 2006.
 - Evidence of right to work in the UK, such as: 
- Passport, or
 - Birth Certificate.
