Regulatory Affairs and safety is a critical function within R & D; a key partner in developing the right portfolio strategy for brilliant innovation, activation in out markets and secure the products during all product life cycle.

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead Capex & Masterplan execution to deliver strategic value across a dynamic FMCG site. Your responsibilities
- Lead Capex Strategy & Delivery: Accountability for Engineering Capex to deliver sustained business value. Ensure capital expenditure aligns with financial forecasts and strategic objectives.
- Masterplan Ownership: Develop and maintain a live 10-year masterplan covering project types, annual spend, resource needs, and depreciation. Collaborate with EPCM partners to assess and evolve long-term site development.
- Ensure Financial Compliance: Maintain site adherence to internal financial controls and policies. Identify and close compliance gaps within agreed timelines, ensuring audit readiness and risk mitigation.
- Resource & Succession Planning: Build external supplier partnerships to flex capacity for seasonal demands. Map resources against the masterplan and implement succession planning for all key roles, including recruitment and onboarding.
- Governance & Reporting: Prepare and present governance updates to senior leadership. Lead Capex Compliance audits and monitor monthly KPIs, implementing corrective actions where needed.
- Process Improvement & Standardisation: Drive engagement with the new capex process. Support central engineering teams in developing standardised templates and procedures to ensure consistency across Reckitt sites.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate Business Case Alignment with input from multiple functions. Lead monthly BCA reviews and share best practices across sites via Communities of Practice and other forums.

The experience we're looking for
Professional Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Engineering or related field, with 5+ years’ industry experience

- Working on brands across the Reckitt portfolio which will include Nurofen & Mucinex, as well as the opportunity to work on Gaviscon, Local Heroes and other pain brands
The experience we're looking for
- Degree in a relevant scientific (typically chemistry, life-sciences, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences,)
- Understanding of laboratory processes and procedures and stability/product development,
- Some experience from within a working laboratory
- Understanding and knowledge of HPLC & Wet Technique
- Able to deal with multiple projects with agreed deadlines·
- A practical scientific person, who enjoys being hands on
- Understanding of regulatory, cGMP and Health and Safety

About the role
Are you looking to play a practical, hands-on role in a company that's at the forefront of consumer health and hygiene? The role of Manufacturing Technician is a critical role in operations environment. The Manufacturing Technician is recognised as the owner of a packing line and the leader of a small team (typically 3 Operators) within the operations environment. A Man Tech needs to have basic to good engineering knowledge to ensure maximum line efficiency with accountability and ownership to deliver the line key performance indicators in their operational area.
Your responsibilities
- Be a key part of our manufacturing processes by handling equipment, assembling products, and ensuring seamless production flow.
- Monitor and uphold our high standards of product quality, taking pride in every item that passes through your hands.
- Prioritise safety, following our guidelines conscientiously to create a secure workplace for all.
- Support the longevity of our machinery with regular maintenance, contributing to the efficiency of our operations.
- Collaborate proactively with a diverse team to overcome challenges and hit production goals.
The experience we're looking for
- Time served Engineering
- Trainer to a Mechanical and/or Electrical craft level
- NVQ level 3 or above or equivalent
- Product line experience on high speed packing equipment in FMCG. food, chemical or pharmaceutical environment.
- An aptitude for understanding and adhering to detailed manufacturing processes and safety protocols.
- Ability to work actively, which might include standing for long periods and managing moderate weights.
- A detail-oriented and reliable approach, with the drive to take initiative and achieve high-quality results.
