About:
The Accounts Receivable Accountant will manage customer accounts, reconcile balances, maintain AR aging reports, and resolve payment discrepancies for our construction projects. This role coordinates with internal teams and customer portals to ensure timely and accurate payments.
Key Responsibilities:
econcile customer accounts and resolve outstanding balances
Investigate overpayments, short payments, and deductions
Use customer portals to obtain and verify payment information
Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports
Communicate with customers and internal departments to resolve AR issues
Support month-end close and audits with documentation and analysis
Suggest improvements to increase AR efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred < r> br>
2+ years’ experience in accounts receivable or general accounting < r> br>
Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
Proficient in Excel and ERP systems; experience with customer portals is a plus
Excellent communication and organizational skills
High attention to detail and accuracy

Role Overview:
As an experience finance officer, you will take ownership of the company’s financial management and reporting processes. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be a key part of the senior leadership team, helping to drive strategic decision-making and ensure robust financial controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tracking incoming payments li>Recording and reconciling all incoming financial transactions received
- Issuing invoices and receipts to clients for money received
- Resolving outstanding payments and sending collection statements
- Updating account information and records of clients
- Assisting with audits and checking for discrepancies in financial accounts
- Ensuring that financial records meet with company standards
- Compiling financial reports
What We’re Looking For:

- Experience of statement of accounts, account reconciliation
- Credit control experience
- Experience of CIS and reverse VAT
