We're looking for a strategic and driven Head of Resourcing to lead the end-to-end recruitment strategy at Witherslack Group, supporting our vital work in education, residential care, and support services. In this pivotal role, you'll ensure a sustainable pipeline of high-quality talent across the organisation, balancing sector-specific workforce challenges with a strong commitment to safer recruitment and safeguarding practices. You'll work closely with senior leaders to forecast future staffing needs, shape our employer brand, and deliver a values-led, inclusive recruitment culture that supports outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
Leading a high-performing resourcing team, you'll oversee recruitment operations across all functions, ensuring consistency, compliance, and excellence throughout. You'll also drive innovation through digital transformation, data-led improvements, and strategic projects such as internal mobility, EVP development, and diversity hiring initiatives. Leadership Experience:
Proven track record of leading recruitment or resourcing functions, ideally within education, healthcare, or social care settings.
Safeguarding Expertise: Strong understanding of safer recruitment practices and safeguarding legislation.
Strategic and Operational Capability: Able to think strategically while effectively managing day-to-day recruitment operations.
Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills across all levels of an organisation.
Workforce Planning: Experience in workforce planning, talent pipeline development, and proactive sourcing strategies.
