The role
Pinehill Hospital are currently looking for a Staff Nurse, reporting to the OPD Manager to join the OPD and PAC team. You will be an integral part of the team who are committed to delivering the highest quality clinical outcomes.
Your duties will include:
• Undertake pre-operative assessment of patients awaiting elective surgery across all specialities
• The key focus is to ensure that patients are prepared physically and psychologically for a planned operative procedure, ensuring appropriate information provision and identifying potential discharge concerns.
• The applicant is expected to be a role model for junior staff and student nurses.
• To be an accountable practitioner, taking every opportunity to sustain and improve knowledge and professional competence
• To provide support to the PAC Lead in effectively leading and managing the PAC department.
