Trimdon Hill School, located in Durham, caters to 40 pupils aged 4 to 11 years and opened in June 2025. We are currently recruiting a dedicated Teacher to join the team and help shape the future of this school.

- Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday 8.30am-5pm, Tuesday 8.30am-4.30pm, Wednesday 8.30am-5pm, Thursday 8.30am-4pm, Friday 8.30am-4pm

Through your knowledge and passion, you will have a real impact on the lives of pupils and young people. As a Teacher, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupil’s achievement and ability to develop.
About the role
- To secure high quality teaching, effective use of resources and improve standards of learning and achievement for all pupils in consultation with the Headteacher;

Role overview:
As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:
● Confidently fitting new products, both gas and electric, safely.
● Sharing your product knowledge with our customers.
● Building great relationships at all home visits.
Customers invite you into their homes to install a new product, and you’ll jump at the opportunity to make the experience memorable.
You will need:
● ACS Qualifications (or equivalent) in Essential Gas Safety Domestic (CCN1), Gas Cookers and Ranges (CKR1).
● Proven experience in installing gas cookers and ranges.

About the role To secure high quality teaching, effective use of resources and improve standards of learning and achievement for all pupils in consultation with the Headteacher; To teach a range of subjects as necessary to ensure the effective delivery of the school’s primary and secondary curriculums. Work may sometimes be undertaken outside the main teaching area; In consultation with the Headteacher undertake other identified areas of responsibility as necessary to ensure effective delivery of the school’s curriculum; To share the school’s responsibility to support and promote the learning, personal development and well-being of all students. General Responsibilities Safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils and young people; Work in accordance with professional practice, statutory and legal requirements and the policies.
