Assisting with the construction and assembly of various components. Supporting welding operations and ensuring quality standards are met. Preparing materials for fabrication and welding processes. Working effectively with other team members to achieve project goals. Being able to perform tasks independently and take initiative.
Mon - Thurs 3.45pm to 3.45pm
What you'll need to succeed
A good working attitude, communication skills and willingness to learn is important. Candidates fro a manufacturing environment are the best fit for this role.
You must be able to work backshift Mon - Thurs.

Your new role
As a Mig Welder/Fabricator you will be requires to follow engineering drawings accurately. You will use MIG welding techniques and fabrication skills to produce their products to the highest standards. You will use hand tools and machinery safely and ensure the quality of your work is to the required standards.
Hours of work:
Mon - Thurs 7am - 5pm and Fri until 4pm. 44 hr week
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have 3 years plus welding experience and fabrication skills. You will be competent reading engineering drawings and ensure your work is at he quality level expected.
Excellent working attitude and communication skills required.

You will be required to fabricate a range of pipe arrangements from workshop drawings, using a variety of welds, i.e., TIG, MMA and MAG. This will be working with carbon and stainless steel.

- Previous experience as a pipe fabricator, producing a wide range of pipe arrangements with either TIG/MAG and able to use MMA.
- Previous experience within a heavy fabrication, architectural steelwork or welding environment.
