Spray Painter - Day Shift
Growing Manufacturer of bespoke products for high end customers
Manpower is recruiting a Spray Painter to join our clients production team, playing a key role in the finished product of bespoke designs across wood and metal.
The company are growing steadily and have ambitious plans over the next few years providing job security. All staff benefit from high spec facilities such as fully kitted on site gym, access to PT sessions, kitchen, health cash plan, company pension, 30 days holiday.
You'll be working on day shift which is x3 shifts per week, 2 weeks of Monday - Wednesday and 2 weeks Thursday - Saturday, with a shorter day on Saturdays
The Role
- Preparing parts and assemblies for painting
- Mixing paints and other materials to the correct specifications
- Operating spray guns and applying paint to meet required standards
- Using heat or oven techniques for drying and special finishes
- Inspecting and separating non-conforming parts, reporting issues as required
- Cleaning and maintaining spray equipment, tools, and the work area
- Handling materials and carrying out minor maintenance duties
- Following company processes, quality standards, and health & safety requirements
- Supporting overtime and weekend work when required

- Experience with spray painting in a manufacturing or workshop environment

Job Description
The Specialist Group is now looking to recruit a Project Manager, based out of our HQ, Maghera. This Project Manager could be a current PM or perhaps are in Design Management or Site Management looking to take that next step up to full Project Management. This person will oversee joinery fit out projects from initial design through to manufacturing and onsite installation. This role demands exceptional project management skills, a comprehensive understanding of joinery processes, and the ability to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Lifecycle Management : Oversee all phases of the project, from design and manufacturing to onsite installation.
- Design Coordination : Collaborate with designers to ensure project specifications meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Manufacturing Oversight : Manage the production process, ensuring quality control and timely delivery of joinery components.
- Onsite Installation : Coordinate and supervise installation teams to ensure precise and efficient fitting of joinery elements.
- Client Interaction : Serve as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and proactive communication throughout the project.
- Budget and Schedule Management : Develop and manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time and within financial constraints.
- Risk Management : Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Reporting : Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and address any issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in project management within the joinery fit out industry.
- Strong understanding of joinery design, manufacturing, and installation processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
