Job Overview:

We are recruiting for an experienced Cook with a valid food hygiene certificate to work within our kitchen. Experience of working in a Care home setting is preferred. You will be responsible for menu preparation, stock ordering, maintaining a clean, tidy, hygienic, and safe working environment at all times.

With a strong Mechanical background you will be capable of resolving planned and unplanned maintenance tasks to drive efficiency and minimise downtime. This role has no shifts.

Key Duties:

  • Carry out routine and unplanned maintenance work and respond to equipment faults;
  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and machinery and arrange procurement Of fixtures, fittings and components as required;
  • Conduct quality inspections on jobs;
  • Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment;
  • Monitor and control maintenance costs;
  • Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs;
  • Work closely with Senior Management to improve health and safety policies and procedures;
  • Work as part of a team to ensure the continuous flow of production and operations;

Criteria:

  • A Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Time served in either discipline;
  • A minimum of 3 years hands on experience as a Maintenance Engineer working with either Electrical, Mechanical and Pneumatics machinery
  • Able to read electrical drawings
  • Knowledge of CNC, PC and PLC controlled systems;

In this role you will be working off CAD drawings to manufacture and fabricate aluminium parts. You will be operating Band Saws, Routers, Drills and Punches create parts before preparing them for assembly via powder coating, anodizing and hand finishing. No welding knowledge is required for this position.

The role would suit a Metal Fabricator with the ability to interpret CAD drawings looking for a stable, days based role offering consistent work and no need to weld.
