We are seeking a highly motivated Workshop Support Assistant to support our team in various tasks related to the running of our Bulford Depot and in support of the maintenance of our fleet of Heavy Equipment Transporter (HET) vehicles. A team player, with a can-do attitude. Someone who can use their own initiative but also work well as part of a team. Is well presented and has great people skills.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.00 AM to 4.30PM
Friday 7:00 AM to 1:00PM
Duties:
· Support the preparation of HET vehicles.
· Manage and control vehicle support equipment (chains / chocks / fire extinguishers).
· Responsible for issue and return of spares packs & tools.
· Conduct regular maintenance checks on workshop equipment to ensure optimal performance, to include:
o Calibration test register control
o Support PAT testing
o PUWER & LOLER equipment testing
· Manage the safe control of temporary waste locations
· Monitor stock levels.
· Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
· Delivery and collection locally of parts and equipment.
· Forklift duties e.g. load & unload weights (when required).
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.

· Driving Licence (essential)
